Kastellorizo: I am part of the fogarty scholars association. We can generally get uwa venues for free if we can prove that the events are of interest to the community or if they are fundraising events.
Even if they aren't as such we usually can get discounts. Let me know if you need to get in...
@ Tim and kastellorizo, Thank you both for making this competition possible. It was without a doubt up there with the best days of my life.
-Pantazis has the most awesome 3x3x3 method?
-Andrea took to the 1x1x1s?
-there are more than three cubers from WA?
-Some memes take on very strange...
In light of the recent Perth Summer Open 2011 (The first WA comp) I have realised that WA really needs a strong cubing community to really promote regular competitions. I was hoping to find some people who would be interested in regular meets in the Perth area.
It doesn't matter...
As I said I'm fine with both.
I was just submitting my own opinion.
I understand that holding competitions in a continent such as Australia simultaneously would be inadvisable. However I have a number of cubing friends who start year 12 in 2011 in the first week of February. Having been a...
I haven't cubed for almost six months because of TEE. haha
This is a great idea. There is a possibility I'll be in NSW for the later part of January for UNSW med interviews.
However Last week of January would be best I think.
I'm fine with both though...
Hope this goes ahead...
This is awesome...
The heralding of a new beginning for Australian cubers!
Sadly I can't go :(....
But hey, one could lead to another.
And maye by that time I'll be back to sub 20's for the 3x3, and maybe sub 1-mins for the 4x4.
Hey guy. I was wondering whether the WCA was planning any competitions in Australia (Specifically WA).
I am planning an un-official cube meet with my friends but really would like to see something of this kind...
Thanks, and read you soon!
After six months of non-cubing due to exams I am finally getting back into cubing.
I got my 4x4 latest non-lucky p.b.: 1:36.46
Megaminx non-lucky: 8:24.41 (I suck)
and 3x3: 22.86
And I accomplished the upload of new videos to my youtube (Been ages) YAY...
Actually 13.3 % is not totally absurd; nearly every one in a first world country has come into contact with a rubik's 3x3 at some point. 13.3% means that about a third try to solve it...so thats not to outlandish.
well I don't think anyway...(no actually literally, I don't:))
Well, I like to track F2L pairs around the cube to help me memorise PLL.
I have most PLL's memorised (not badmephisto's) and just use those in any type of solve. Just try to use your PLL's in their exact cases as much as possible.
