Unfortunately the box had already been opened and there's a small rip in the box.
The cube has been used a couple of few times but other than that the cube is in extremely good condition for being +30 years old.
I will post the same post on TP and see if they can verify if it really is that...
A hungarian friend of mine knows that I'm a speedcuber and that I have a keen interest for all things Rubik.
She brought me a special gift from her place in Hungary.
At her parents place she found a rubiks cube in its package, so she asked if she could have it, nabbed it and gave it to me...
A Canon EOS 5D is a professional line of SLR cameras.
I'm not sure if it can support video recording since it's kinda of an old camera.
You might want to ask your dad if lending that camera is okay concidering that it costs nearly $5000 excluding the lens...
How do DSLRs fair up against some of those Higher-End ( >600 USD) cameras?
Some of the image quality stuff I've seen from DSLRs such as the Higher-End DSLRs seem to be quite amazing, such as the Canon EOS 7D.
Would anyone recommend any of those?
What is the best video quality-wise recording equipment for making cubing videos?
I've been looking into some of the HD camera stuff and I am far form impressed by the quality. Cameras such as Mini DV's and handycams cost in the range from $300-$500 and I have to say that I am rather...
The method is called VHF2L which is a precursor to ZBF2L.
They are algorithms for every case that lets you influence the top layer to turn into a cross by doing specific algorithms with the 4th pair.
You can find them here:
It's kind of an oxymoron though...
That's like saying "F2L is boring and repetitive".
They are so many intuitive ways and skills to learn during the pair-up phase of the 4x4 that can be mastered that the amount of things to learn and practice on is endless.
Try to learn Yau-method if you think Redux is boring and lame.
The cube when it comes out of the box is VERY bad.
It requires complete dissasembely, lubricating, re-assembling and all that crap.
Doing this to a 3x3 is something I am willing to suffer through but in order to make the DaYan 4x4 mini evenm usable you have to go through painstalkingly long...
My LingYun V2 was real clicky and locky when I first got it but after lubing it with Silicone 50k and messing around with it it has become a lot better.
I think one of the main reason why it's terrible at the beginning is because the tensions where set wrong - at least the one I got that came...
