Hey, I'm looking for some help identifying a 3x3 which I forgot the model / name of.
I've taken some photos of the pieces, and from the center logo looks similar to the Moyu logo on ebay listings that I've seen.
I don't remember when I got it (exactly) but its definitely post 2009 (it has...
If more than 1 round of 4x4 was needed at Melbourne Cube Day, more than one is probably needed here
More Magic rounds? Pretty Please?
FMC could be slotted in at lunch
Still not sure if I can come, depends what day sport starts, though I hope I can make it.:)
But still a Monarchy none the less :)
Trust me, nothing fails more than NSW, we're in deficit, the trains brake down every week, and once more, we're copping the interest rates for Western Australia's (*cough*) rapid mining expansion. mebe it could be better if...

1 - The lube with the cube made mine a bit sticky :0 but then I used silicone spray and it turned out alright
2 - it was ok out of the box, I did a few (20 or so) solves on it
3 - I only got the white one, but it SERIOUSLY throws my recognition off
4 - Hmm. Hard to say, isn't as easy to turn...
Is the Meffert's 5x5x5 limited edition cube better or worse than a standard V5? (regardless of colour scheme) If I buy the Meffert's, I will probably end up taking off the tiles in favour of stickers.
They are both around the same price range~30-40$, and will not break the bank.
The only magic I have absolutely killed was a 9spuzzles DIY Magic, the strings are so easy to break where they join the connectors. As such, I think i broke 50% of them just stringing the magic together.
I can do about 3 solves on a double strung magic before a string "pops" I can...
few questions before i try it,
does it calculate averages of 5 and 12?
does it store time? (i wouldn't imagine creating a .sav file would be hard)
are any other cube sizes going to be added in the new future? (eg. 2x2x2 wouldn't be hard, just make the code to use R, F and U)
I've seen so many posts about R U R' U' x3, though i prefer to use Joël's algorithm, U2 z F' R U' R' U R' F for that case. I basically use intuituve F2L, although when I tried learning algs for the hard cases, I found that either my intuitive way of solvin the case was the same, took the same...
I received mine yesterday, and honestly, I spent the whole day not breaking it in, but getting the tiles off, sanding it, and putting stickers on it.
i then broke it in, and now, it is ok, not as loose as I'd like it to be, but still Ok
10.12 = (15.00), 7.81, 13.50, (6.55), 9.05
hmm, I don't really do 2x2x2, just practising for no particular reason
22.81 = 21.03, 24.43, 22.97, (18.13), (26.06)
maybe good maybe bad, fairly mediocre
1.45 = (1.53), 1.50, (1.36), 1.50, 1.36
not the best, but still ok...
I tried salmabert's hybrid, except I lost my White Old Type A along time ago. I tried doing it with black first, and I note although it is a stable an fast turning cube, it doesn't cut corners well at all.
I then tried it using a White (d) and and a Old New Type A (The one with the nubs) I...
I use Jap Speedcubing Kits (basically the same as Rubik's DIY's except for better center caps xD) combined with Store bought pieces, so
Core: Jap Kit
Screws & Springs: Jap kit
Corners: Well broken in Store bought
Edges: Well broken in Store bought
I have two of these hybrids...
