I have original posted this on github a couple of weeks ago. Please read the whole Pros/Cons list before voting, especially if you would like to pick "Other".
I would like to propose the following new format for 3x3 Blindfolded rounds in WCA competitions: combined Best of 3/Best of 5.
21.28 24.17 30.93 = 25.46, only 0.01 off ER.
The video of the 21 is pretty bad. That of the 24 is ok, in the 30 the is completely out of frame, so I'm not going to upload it.
I'm very happy about this, I finally got the NR average, with a very nice result too!
Here is my best solve in the final round, placing me sixth. The final was really close, six people in just 2 seconds! I don't care if I am the last of those six, I am happy that I was there and did a decent job :)
But I can still improve, the solve is very far from perfect. Also, if I recall correctly it was a 12/8 scramble, so not lucky.
Scramble: U' R2 B2 D L2 F2 L2 B2 D L2 F2 L' F' R2 U2 R F D L2 D' Rw Uw2
[R D' R', U]
[R' x: [U2, R' D2 R]]
[D: [R U2 R', D2]]
I have finally finished this huge tutorial. It gathers every known technique in one place (I hope I didn't miss anything).
Disclaimer: English is not my first language, so there may be mistakes or poorly written parts. Also, I haven't read it through a second time, so there may be typos as well...
Hi everyone (especially fellow FMCers),
I have just started this website, where I have already posted a couple of FMC solves (some of my attempts, and official WR and ERs). The goal is to have a website to gather explained and commented FMC solution, like The Reconstruction Database, but only...
(I didn't really know in which section to post this)
20 HTM by Oleksii Padalko (Олексій Падалко) @FM Ukraine 2014
Doesn't look like a typo to me; other results have been uploaded to that page and this hasn't been removed yet.
He doesn't have any...
...or "How fast can you get sub-40(HTM)?"
FMC is really cool, but sometimes you just don't have a full hour to do a solve.
I also like the idea of the "Composite Challenge" that Tony Snyder proposes on his website, but it focuses a little too much on speed (imo).
Today I thought it would be...
