After attending my first comp in Epping I came home with a 17.xx average under my belt. I had a break from timed solves on Monday then just did and ao12 on 3x3 and got a 22.28 average and several DNFs and +2s. Why is this? Is it because of the added pressure makes me perform to my true...
At the comp I went to today, Melbourne Cube Days 2019, I was watching whilst Feliks got both of these CRs
As you may know already, I use CFOP and average 20 seconds on 3x3. What should my average be on 5x5 and 4x4 and megaminx? 5x5 average is around 3:45, 4x4 average is around 1:40, megaminx average is around 5:10
Seeing as I'm not a coder myself, I thought it would be easier to share my idea on these forums in the hope that someone who knows how to code will look at this. My idea is basically a 15 countdown for inspection, with an announcement at 8 seconds and 3 seconds, or whatever the number is...
What do you think are the best cubes of 2019? Post your thoughts here.
In my opinion:
The events I know about
2x2 Tengyun, Valk 2LM, MGC
3x3: XS, X, WRM, Tengyun, MGC V3 Elite
4x4 Aosu GTS2M, Meilong, Valk 4
5x5 Valk 5 M
Square 1 Volt 2 M, Little Magic M
Skewb X-man wingy
Noticed these interesting new products on the Cubicle.
This thread is for musing and guessing what they're for
Heres the XS
They go under the name of Angstrom Studio a and ß projects. I wonder what they're all about?
This thread is for stating your average times and breaking up each step and asking how you could improve. This is not limited to just 3x3 so feel free to ask about any other event. Hopefully it will help people work on the part of their solves that is holding them back.
To start off with:
Cubers seem to either love gan cubes, or absolutely hate them. I know there's people who don't mind them, but I think to would be cool to see a general divide of what most of the cubing community thinks. If many of the comments request something in the middle, I will add it
Um, so I managed to get dirt in my Gan X. I was wondering whether I should soak it or do my best to wipe it clean, as the Gan Magnet System installed may be affected by the water. I certainly do not want to damage them
The Cubing Would Your Rather thread has been pretty popular lately so I decided to make a similar thread on the topic of 'never have I ever'
This thread should follow the same format as the WYR thread, with one participant asking a question then the next answering and stating a new one
Gan is well known for its top of the line cubes that are endorsed by top cubers including Feliks Zemdegs, Max Park, and many others. As of today, they are renowned for their for their unique and groundbreaking innovations, such as their GES nut and GMS systems. Their most recent cube, the Gan...
What is better, numerical IPG or IPG v5?
Although the IPG v5 is not as expensive, the numerical IPG version is newer and easier to change. IPG v5 offers more choices but is harder to swap out. So, what's better?
