Which pony is your favorite? I must say that Fluttershy takes the cake for me.
P.S. This thread was inevitable.
::EDIT:: Nearly a year later, I have been converted to a Twilight kinda guy. Or maybe Pinkie. It's hard to tell.
::EDIT2:: Since about 6 or 7 months back, I no...
Happy with this. Sub-90s are becoming more common. Really happy to get this on video too, recently I've just been DNFing on video. Sorry about the cube out of frame though.
Any tips that you guys could think of?
Sorry about the crappy quality, taken from my iPod Nano. It's my best solve at the Brown Cubing Day competition. It's rather slow, but good in comp, especially considering I had given up practicing for a while before this. Now for a sub15 average in comp...
I was at Brown Cubing Day, and decided to warm up for BLD. I raced somebody (never got their name), and got a 1:4x.yz. I had the same memo time as he did, but I finished almost a whole minute (give or take ten seconds) faster than he did, and he commented on my fast execution. That got me...
Title. I keep trying to find a compromise between comfort, and not being able to peek out the bottom. It's hard to find that... Too tight and I get a headache, too loose and I can see the cube plain as day.
Anyway, it made me curious. How tight do you BLDers keep your blindfolds?
How do you properly determine your time breakdowns? I suppose you could do averages of each step, but I feel that lookahead is inaccurate... is there any other way to do it, or is that how people normally do it?
F-II edge and corner cap POPping
I'm aware that this happens often enough, but I'm curious if anybody has found a way to avoid/reduce the amount of POPs? I'd rather not risk messing up with super-gluing them down.
What would you do if you had a suicidal friend? I know this is a touchy topic, so guys, be careful is all I can say...
But seriously, I'm very curious. I've been in this situation a few times, and I want to know what the people here would do... and if the people here value human life.
Good evening! As should be obvious, I am JonnyWhoopes. I've been lurking for about 9 months now, and I'm active on the TP forums, and the now revived MTC forums. I average around 21 seconds, with sub-20s common. I'm a PROUD user of the rewks method.
I started cubing May 20th, 2008. My mother...
