Back in 2016 i started working on an Anki deck for learning ZBLL for TH and OH rightie. Later Simon Kalhofer (@Petro Leum ) jumped on the train and added algs for OH leftie and added a nice tagging system.
Today is finally the day we share the deck.
I encourage you to read the whole...
So this hasnt been posted here right?
Jay just recently made a video why ZZ is "measuarbly and objectivly" worse than cfop. Then Simon made a video where he rambled against the ramble while he watched the video the first time.
I'd love to see a answer video of jay where he rambles about the...
So when we handscramble or just messing around a bit, keeping the hands busy, we all have some kind of algorithm we just do everytime again and again, often even resulting in the same end state, right?
So that is just some random moves which flow quite nice. Its not really working as a...
So what i meant is that there are plenty of methods which basically are layer by layer.
Then there is all the methods which do corners first (or edges first) like most of the bld methods.
Then there is all of the fmc approaches.
But then there is the question how Roux fits into this...
This is just for different average sizes, not for single.
For me its the biggest average, cstimer gives me (1000) as I'm usually very inconsistent with my times, so 5 and 12 PBs are just luck.
And would you vote different for different events? If so, please vote for 3x3.
Do you solve your megaminx f2l (Well, i mean all the layers except the last one) always in the same order?
If so, what colours you start with (assuming you have the standard galaxy colour scheme), and which way do you rotate?
Or do you just solves the first things that you see?
A friend of mine who is a professional magician and juggler saw the video of that guy solving three cubes while juggling them.
He is willing to learn that too, as he's always searching for new juggling tricks.
The thing is, hat he's not a cuber at all, so he can't solve a cube yet. But...
I'm in the process of learning ZBLL. I got my inspiration from a youtube channel with the name "zzmethod". That guy taught the algs with 2 sided recognition. I did never lern any algs 2 sided before, and I'm not sure, if the 2 sided recognition is the better option. 2 sided recognition can...
You need 2 T-Perms, to get to were you started. You need 6 sexy moves to get to where you started. And so on and so forth. But what is the longest of those cycles and how to calculate that?
I assume, that the longest cycle would be a sequence which moves all of the sides.
I should clarify...
I think it would be cool to see, which methods which people use. Then there could be a column next to the event in the wca database. and then you could sort the times by method. so you could easily see e.g. the fastest petrus solver out there, which would be kinda cool.
I think this could be...
I used to use cfop for teamblind solving. For f2l I didn't use the normal notation but i used the following command scheme:
push, join and double. Push 1 for example is R U' R. push 2 then is L' U L. Push 3 is L U' L'. Push 4 is R' U R. Join 1 is R U R' going on with the same logic. Double 1 is...
Did this at the Schleswig-Holstein Open in Germany.
Actually its not right what i said in the video: This single is not faster than my 2H official pb but 0.4 secs slower. Nevertheless I'm happy about that.
