Which is myself :D
MILLION THANKS TO TOMAS MANSILLA FOR THE FOOTAGE!!!
Extremely happy and proud of this accomplishment. My first ever CR and also my first ever good time in any 3BLD event for what my global avg at that moment was XD
The other solves were
1) DNF(2:36), few pieces wrong
It finally happened OMG
48.26 official 3BLD single, Argentinian National Record.
The only 3BLD Argentinian NR holder until that weekend was Tomás Mansilla; he set the SaR back in 2011 and nobody beat it until I came :p
Soooo yeah, quite a big accomplishment haha
The solve itself was quite...
I set the Pyraminx single NR at 2.82 seconds (super easy scramble, Genaro Sahib Leguizamón got a 1.6+2 with it D: ), and after that round my Pyraminx got somehow damaged.
I need your help this time:
The cube has one side (the yellow/green/blue "face") which turns horribly, the other 3 ones turn...
So we've got 2 SaRs now! Yeaaah!
This was quite a thing. The video was sent by our delegate to the Board because of the positioning of his hands at the beginning of the solve, just to make sure the solve is OK.
Despite of everything, it was finally accepted after 2 days of suffering xD
This is something I came up yesterday, and I haven't tried it yet, but I thought I should suggest it here:
You have 2 scrambled cubes,
you memorize both as though you were going to do MBLD,
you solve one of them,
you execute the memo of the other one backwards on the solved one.
I wonder, what's the optimal algorithm (or which ones) to spread the lube applied on the RUF and BLD (wow blind) corners?
Is it R2 L2 U2 D2 F4 B4 D2 U2 L2 R2 (10 moves HTM)? Of course slice moves count as 2 moves in the HTM.
The final state must be a solved cube.
The algorithm must spread the...
I would really appreciate if anyone could find, or give me ideas on how to find a mis-scramble that had a 2x2x1 white-red-green block, being the big face (the 2x2) white, and there is a small possibility that it was yellow instead of white (that is, a yellow-red-green block...
That weird feeling you get in your legs when you remain seated for a long time, for example, but in your hands.
I've read that a possible cause could be "doing a job that requires forced wrist movement", could it be cubing?
I'm asking that since I have experienced a weird feeling...
I am about to get a 4x4 Shengshou, but it has something weird... it has textured stickers??
I don't know what version it is.
The stickers look like this other cube that I found on the Internet: [the cube appears to be the same]
There is a post on Reddit but...
(Note: r = Rw in this case)
Basically you scramble using r and U twists and then you solve also by using r and U twists (it means you can use r, r2, r', U, U', and U2).
I wonder if anyone ever tried this and if someone figured out a way of doing the LL, or if someone found useful algorithms.
I know how commutators and conjugates work, I can read commutator notation such as [R', U] [R2: [F', U'] [R, F] ] (U'), but I have some doubts...
¿Can that decomposition be done with any algorithm? ¿Even with an entire solve? If it is possible, ¿how do you do it?
Thanks for your time
