I have decided to make a basic 3x3 timer in Java. It’s nothing special compared to any other downloadable software. It was created merely to keep my programming skills sharp (though not very good :p) and not to forget some things I learned lately. Also to have a little fun out...
I have been thinking about getting a new main. Currently, I am using the GTS2M and I love it. I have seen that the GTS3M is one of the top cubes though I'm not a big fan of the ridges. After seeing the WRM announced, I have been considering to purchase it, but I have a few...
Which F2L alg do you use for the 16th case?
I learned a really bad one (for me at least), and now I'm hesitating between two:
* R U' R' U2' (F' U' F)
* U F (U R 'U R') F' (R U R')
In the first case, I got some trouble passing from the U2 to the F'...
Nice, thanks for the responses guys :)
I got an eye on the Guhong v2 (strengthened version) with stickers. Does anybody who has it love the sound of it? It's not expensive at all, I was thinking about getting one!
This might be a bizarre question, but I would like to know your opinions on what would be the cube that produces a satisfying sound when turning it (not that I'm going to make my living creating ASMR videos or something :P), just for relaxing and chilling while solving it, regardless of the...
Thanks :) Got a couple of questions, though:
1. My apologies for not fully understanding, as I'm a bit new in this. Do you do it using your thumb from the upper part of the cube and pressing down? or from the down part pressing to the left?
2. I imagine "right pointer finger", correct?
I use the Hedgeslammer in many algs (F R' F' R), but I don't manage to do it fast without performing an "x" rotation. From that perspective it would be (U R' U' R), but I can't manage to keep looking ahead, as the rotation itself is blinding me. Even without rotation, I have to change...
Gotcha, I have seen other people commenting on this matter, and I imagine it's about knowing where the pieces are headed to, once you execute the alg. This is where a lot practice comes into place. Thank you all!
I do not necessarily require a Gans, but thanks for the recommendations :)
I was thinking of getting the Valk 3 instead of the Valk 3 Power, after checking some recommendations, but I guess is not as quiet.
I wanted to revive this post after a few months :D
Any other ideas? I've seen reviews and the TangLong looks pretty quiet, but some people here don't seem to think alike. Gans Air SM looks idea but it's way too expensive. How about the YJ MGC?
