Hi, I'm 10 years old from Singapore. I had my first cube when I was 7 years old and started my cubing addiction 2 years ago. I also like puzzles and origami.

I learned beginner method from Xioami GiiKER smart cube apps, then discovered JPerm Youtube Channel, learned CFOP and how to practice the fingering. Since then I have improved a lot, from 5 minutes to an average of 28 secs for 3x3x3 and PB for 19.7 secs.

My first cube: Xiaomi GiiKER
My main cubes: Gan 356 XS
Collections:
2x2x2: Gan 249M V2
3x3x3: Gan 330, 354M, 356 Air SM, 11M Pro, X-Man Tornado V2, Valk 3 Elite M
4x4x4: Gan 460M
5x5x5: Meilong M
6x6x6: Qiyi X-Man Shadow M
Pyraminx: Moyu Carbon fiber

You may be wondering why I have so many cubes, I earned new cubes when I drop my PB by 10-20 secs J. My mom promises me Gan 12 Maglev for Christmas if I can get sub 10.
Can anyone help me? Please share your tips and tricks on how to be sub 10.

Quack. Welcome to the forums?

I used to do a lot of origami before cubing took over. What's your favorite model and how advanced are you? Are you an origami purist or do you do mostly as a craft with lots of cuts?

Those are some pretty solid 3x3's and I'm surprised that out of all of those you don't have a budget cube! If you ever want to try one out I recommend the Qiyi MS, it's actually my current 2H main.

What's your best event and do you do OH at all?

My journey to sub10 ended when I did 6000 solves over 3 weeks in August. Granted, I averaged low 11 when I started, so I would have a bit of a head start.

Doing at least 50 solves every single day is a good way to start. Making sure that you have good fingertricks and know common algorithm sets (OLL, PLL) can go a long way. Look through the F2L solutions in speedcubedb and make sure that your solutions for each case are good. You should aim to have your solutions be in the 55-65 move range. If you're going significantly over 60 you should try to see where you can work on efficiency.

That's pretty much it. Come back after you've done ~20000 solves and you might be there. At the very least, you'll be much closer.

Hi, nice to meet you.
I’m a purist origami, my biggest achievement so far is Darkness Dragon by Tadashi Mori. I have been learning and following Robert J.Lang, Jo Nakashima, Kade Chan, and Tadashi Mori.
Thank you for the recommendation for the cubes, I will take a look at Qiyi MS.
Unfortunately, there are not many events available in Singapore. There was one planned for 202 but was canceled due to Covid-19 pandemic.
No, I don’t do OH, is there any benefit in practicing OH? My hand is too small for OH.

Heyyy...
I'm not Singaporean but I study in Singapore.
Tip: Lots of practice will make you sub10. Also try and learn more finger tricks.

Welcome! I reside in Singapore but I'm Filipino (SG PR)

I'm Sub-16 as of now and i have a handful of sub-10 singles. Only advice I can give you is to solve with the cube you like the most and just grind.

Maybe learn new algs, but I use Roux and CFOP and I don't even know like half of 1-look CMLL lol so yea grinding is more important
Good luck!
