Personaly, I think, That the Dokumentary shows Feliks as an Speedcuber, who now has been defeated by Max Park, and now will never be able to beat him / win Worlds again. I personaly think, That in 10 years of absolutly dominating speedcubing, it is expected, that you cant win always. Sure, he may get a little worse, because of his job, and other things, but I think that he absolutly could beat the world record in many events. One of his recent videos is him getting a 3.33, so... .
But thats yust what I think.

At this moment in time, I'd say they're equal. In the future, I think that Max will overtake Feliks simply because Feliks has less time to cube. He's growing up and getting many more responsibilities, which leaves less time to cube. However, the dominance the Feliks has shown in the past will not be matched by Max or by anyone ever

Max is really good at every event that Feliks does or used to hold a WR in except 2x2 and 4BLD. (Yes, Feliks held 2 2x2 average WRs and a 4BLD single WR.)

EDIT: I’m not saying Feliks sucks, it’s just that I think we have entered the “Max Dominance Era,” just like 2010 to 2018(-ish) was the “Feliks Dominance Era.”

I didn't think the doc suggested Feliks wouldn't win again at all. Not sure it mentioned that he did podium in 5x5, but if not, it probably could have.

Personally, I thought the doc was more about friendships in Cubing, how supportive the community is, and the dedication it takes to be one of the best.

No they did not mention, that he did podium. They said, that he did not podium at all. And yes, I also think, that it is about friendship and dedication, but for me I thought, that they let Feliks look worse, then he really is

I had no clue what happenned in the 2017 worlds before watching the Documentary.
I did learn from it that Feliks got podium in 5x5. They do say it or imply in some other way several times. The last was when they showed them with the Trophies and I think Feliks saying saying something like "yay, a podium!"

But right now, I would say that Max is better than Feliks. Once again, no offense Feliks, you’re still an amazing cuber.
Feliks about to do his first reaction in 3 years... And it's not gonna be a good one...
Jk lololol

Whatever, I think currently Max is currently better at other events, if we are getting out of only 3x3. For some reason I think Feliks is really good at 6x6 now, even though max holds the record l.

I don't think it was portrayed that Feliks is incapable of beating Max. it is a common thread in sports where the legend is overtaken by a newer younger hero. I thought the fact that this story played out with all the focus on friendship and showcasing the humble attitude of Feliks made for good entertainment. I agree that he can still win and his absolute dominance earlier in his career wasn't clearly stated but it was still a well together effort.

Overall, I think Feliks is a great guy. His dominance in cubing was the best. However, this will be beaten by younger generations. The thing is when. Max is quick. He is also young. This is why Max has the advantage over Feliks. Mainly because of age and time on his hands. They're both really quick and a lot of people look up to them as the greatest speedcubers. Feliks will be beaten, but will be put in the record books as the person who started it all. (even though that's erno rubik, but I didn't mean it that way.)

I think if you arguing about who is better then you may have missed the main points of the documentary IMHO.
Absolutly right. I just felt like they showed Feliks as somebody who has been defeated, and wanted to know how you are experiencing the documentation.
