Hello cubers, my name is Tavleen Singh and my artist name is T.A.V

I’m a professional music producer, film composer & sound designer from Punjab, India.

Last week I bought a Pyraminx for my 2 year old daughter (it looked like a nice to look at toy). I didn’t touch it for 2 days because I had this idea that its only for genius people, then Tavleen said that T.A.V is kind of a genius so he should try learning...LOL

That night I learned Pyraminx from youtube and when I woke up next morning there was a very strong urge to get a 3x3 and learn that, so went to a local shop and bought a 3x3, 2x2 and a 3x3 mod. From last 4 days I’ve been obsessed with cubing, all day in the studio and all night at home that is all that I watch on YouTube, forums and reddit. Yesterday I ordered Little Magic Magnetic.

I had no idea these little cubes will take over my life in this way, enjoying every moment of my time. Daughter is at wife’s parents for next 2 weeks, when she comes back I’m gonna hook her up as well.

Welcome to the forum! It is definitely interesting how the cube captivates us and we keep coming back for more. I had been into solving, got away for a few years and recently got back into it and it sounds like we are having very similar, "can't keep cubing" off my mind experiences right now.

As a side note, what are some of your favorite artists from India? Any genre. I enjoy traditional music from the region but haven't explored all the other forms of music India has to offer. Cheers and welcome,

India is so diverse that even I haven’t explored every genre. I personally love fusion music, my music aways has a strong western influence.
I like artists like A. R. Rahman, Hans Zimmer, Vishal Bhardawaj for film music.
Nitin Shawney, Enigma, Snatam Kaur for new age & fusion.
My favourite singers from india are Rekha Bhardawaj, Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Goshal. (It was dream come true when I composed and produced songs for some of them last year)

Many celebrities in India are cubers and that has promoted it a lot here, I’m not sure there are many cubers in music industry, lets change that...
