I really like gancube puzzles, and I am getting the Gan magnet box. However, gan don’t make many puzzles. (Just 4x4, 3x3, 2x2). In this thread, please put forward any information you know about new gan puzzles.

It is that box. I’m sorry, I think I got my cube numbers mixed up.
I would personally not invest in that one. The 460 is not a good puzzle, the 354 is getting old and the 249 is not that good either. You'd be better off getting the AoSu WRM, the GAN XS, and something like the Valk 2 LM.

kinda saddens me that people think that gan is the only brand that is good. moyu, qiyi and yuxin are all amazing companies
I don't see where your getting that sentiment. Most people understand that there are a number of perfectly viable brands but they still have a favorite feel that one brands specializes in.

Personally, I'm a big fan of GAN cubes but haven't gotten any since the Air just because they're expensive and I'm pretty content with it. I don't main it for 3x3 either because it doesn't feel right--right now I'm using Moyu puzzles for 2H and OH.

I don't recommend the Gan 460 - it is far too expensive for its performance. My friend has two that I am currently using and it is extremely sandy on both inner and outer layers. The inner layers feel extremely unstable and are almost unusable. The slice turns (turning just one of the inner layers) have a slight misaligning issue with the inner mechanism which causes the center to be offset after a slice turn and therefore catches on your next move. I originally thought this was a defect, but this problem occurred with both his 460's.

Conclusion: If you are a casual cuber, the Gan 460 might before you - it has a stunning look and nice external magnets. However, if you are using this for speedcubing, save some money and get some other, top tier cubes such as the:
-Aosu GTS2M
-Valk 4 M
-Wuque M

Somewhere in the cubing universe
the 354 isn't a bad cube it is a really good cube except its getting old
The gts2m and Valk and SM are still great cubes despite being really old

Lol, got my GAN XS two days ago and when i pick up my YJ MGC 2x2 its still heavier
Im gonna try one at a comp in Epping Vic and see if its worth buying. How much of an upgrade is it over the X?
I totally agree
Yup. Me too. A lot of my non-cuber friends think that Gan is the only good brand, and that my X is the best cube ever. I have to tell them that the current world record single was broken on a gts2m, and that its really a matter of opinion. I myself am slowly falling away from Gan, and am starting to wonder whether the WRM would be better for me, or the Valk. Also, I reckon the XS would suit me pretty good, cos the thing that I don't like much about the X is that its kinda slow, and M slices are sometimes sluggish. Not that it matters at my level, or at least to a degree, as I tried my friends Tengyun out and really liked how it performed, but when I went to do some timed solves I did pretty bad, around 3-4 seconds worse than normal, catching and overshooting heaps. I suppose that would change over time if I did, say, 300 solves on it. On that same topic, I fell my recently received YLM 3x3 corner cuts just about better than my X (except on reverse which the X excels on), which is amazing for a cube that is like 2 years old or something.

I think about cube prices like i think about video games. I own a X, XS I, 460M, 249v2, Megaminx and they brought me many many hour of fun. but yeah a gts3m is half the price and turns also very good. But the plastic is so thin you can see though it in the right light.
