[Help Thread] OLL and PLL Discussion

Hello I am breaking 50 seconds average with a 36 second PB and I found some numbers and my last layer in a whole is a bit slacking, I don't have that high of a TPS since I havent been cubing for that long but my question is if I should drill my 2look OLL and PLL alls or would it better be to...

    3x3 Can't break 1 minute

if you don't have the most efficient algorithm it doesn't mean its slower, a lot of people say they don't use m moves because most people find it harder to track the pieces that way, F2L TPS and moves doesn't define the time exactly u still have pauzes and such

    Lube

Hello I am cubing 3x3 for a month now and I feel it is going to stick with me, I bought a cube (MF3RS2) and it felt great at the beginning but know it feels a bit more locky and corner twists do occur once in a while. Also when I turn my cube very slowly I can really feel the plastics rubbing...

[Help Thread] 3x3 beginner asking advice

I am doing blind cross and slow solves now but I have problems with looking ahead to the next pair because I am stil focussing on what im doing, do you think it would be good to first practice F2L blind, so u see 2 pieces then close eyes match and insert them then open eyes again and repeat ?

[Help Thread] 3x3 beginner asking advice

thank you for the feedback, i set a goal to myself that I want to be able to solve sub 20 on a 3x3 ( I know it is going to take time) I see that for that goal I need to improve on F2L by alot. I decided that I wil learn blind cross and F2L, I am also going to work on smoothening out my 4LLL...

    How to improve at 3x3

I am not experienced in any way now averaging 1 min, I only learned 4look last layer a few days ago, did that in 1 day, I found that looking at the cube and understanding what u are doing goes a long way, I also found it easier to divide the algorithm in sections ( like triggers but bigger)...

[Help Thread] 3x3 beginner asking advice

Hey my names Frank and I would like to ask some advice from some more experienced speed solvers. I did my first solve on a rubies cube a month ago but after about 10 solves I was looking to go faster and tried CFOP , I sucked at f2L and a cube took 7 min to complete. after a few practice...
