New speed cubing platform, similar to old hi-games.net

This is fantastic. Very well done and professional. I had tinkered with something similar using three.js a while back once the app on hi-games stopped working for me. But this is very polished and works great. Curious, any plans to do any puzzles besides cubes?

Drilling algs with the GiiKER cube and briefcubing.com

This looks great. I'm curious what you used to generate the cube SVG images. It looks like visualcube.php images. I'm wondering because I spent some time making a javascript port of visualcube, but I didn't know if anythink like that was already done. I hope I didn't do a bunch of redundant...

    F2L Trainer Interest Check

Yeah! I had the same problem haha. I've built models for several twisty puzzles, and I'm In the process of generating images for N-layer megaminx / pyraminx style puzzles. But I realized that puzzles like the square-1 don't quite fit my architecture.

    F2L Trainer Interest Check

This looks great! I love the SVG paths defining the stickers to look like modern speedcube faces. What this created manually? Or are you able to generate a side given different viewing angles etc... Also i'm curious about the cube data model and functions to manipulate it that you mentioned...

    Javascript port of visualcube

Great news! I was able to do what I was suggesting no problem. The following examples you provided renders the following images cubePNG(element, "visualcube.php?size=150&pzl=3&stage=f2l&case=U(RU'R')&fmt=png&sch=ygrwbo") cubePNG(element...

    Javascript port of visualcube

Great idea! Yeah I had thought of this and have already implemented this idea for the arrows parameter. Because passing in a bunch of arrow definitions was a bit cumbersome compared to the old way. I just need to do this for all the parameter types. Or for example, when calling cubePNG if the...

    Javascript port of visualcube

Thanks! Also one improvement from the original version that I just added. It supports standard WCA algorithms passed in. And the algorithms can be applied to any size cube. Example: cubePNG(element, { cubeSize: 5, algorithm: 'R U Uw2 Bw\' Dw L\' F\' Lw\' Dw Lw\' B Lw2 Bw B2 U2 L\' Fw Rw...

Idk, just do. cause it's fun? Easy to solve and fun to fidget with while reading or something.

    [Member Intro] Greetings!

Hey guys, I just joined. I've been "speedcubing" for a long time. (~10 years). However, I haven't made it a priority to improve yet. I just fidget around with puzzles. I mostly solve 3x3. I use the CFOP method and still do 2 look OLL. I also haven't memorized all the PLL algorithms yet. My PB...

    Javascript port of visualcube

Hey guys. Just thought I'd post this here in case anyone was interested. I'm sure most of you have heard of visualcube. I've put a little work into porting it to typescript/javascript to allow rendering images right in your page without requesting it from the old .php file. You can find my...
