    My Solve Breakdowns (help please)

Your PLL. A lot of people can be using 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL and beginner cross and intuitive F2L without lookahead and still average around 30 seconds. But, since you are already that far ahead in algorithms, like your Full PLL, I don't see why it would take an average of 8 seconds to...

I think someone asked this in the Lubrication thread too. Go look at that thread.

[Help Thread] 3x3 Cross Help and Discussion

I see your point there. I am not simply forcing him to do the cross on the bottom. He said that he tried to do it on the bottom and he failed in a few tries. I just wanted to let him know, it is more than a few tries. And if he is actually willing to do the cross on the bottom, I don't see why...

    The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

Does it turn on? If it does, try randomly timing/playing with it. If it happens to shut down mid-way/mess up mid-way, I would try replacing the batteries. Also open it up with a screwdriver and see if there are any loose wires.

[Help Thread] "What cube should I get?" The Puzzle Choice Thread

I would definitely recommend the Shengshou V3 4x4. It is quite fast and doesn't lock up much at all. It has some good corner cutting which is great. For 2x2, if you got the money, go for the Type C Wittwo. It has amazing corner cutting, more than 45 degrees, very fast and smooth with a slight...

    [Help Thread] Lubrication Thread

I'm not sure, but that looks very similar to a re-named/re-packaged Maru Lube. Maru Lube is a milky colored lube (as you can tell). When you first apply it, your cube will most likely feel very fast. (different cubes will have different reactions). But after a week or two, it will start to slow...

How to get my TPS higher for OLL and PLL?

You need an alg that you favor best or is the fastest/smoothest for you. Then practice it using fingertricks. Now it's all up to practice until you can do it even while dreaming and/or learning some algorithm recognition techniques.

In general is sub 30 possible?

Improve your solve where it needs improvement most. I averaged 35 seconds just a month ago, and I soon learned that my last layer took me 16 seconds. Holy cow! I quickly went ahead and learned some algorithms. After 2-3 weeks, I was getting some sub-30 averages. I knew that wasn't enough, but I...

    The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

Simply imply the algorithm/moves onto the other side. I often study the sexy move, and see what it was all about. Turned out, that it holds the answer to 6 F2L cases, and could also be used very usefully in algorithms or other methods such as block-building. Now, if you are good enough with the...

In general is sub 30 possible?

Sub-30 isn't all the hard. You just need the right potential like patience, interest, and dedication, that's really it. (Except for common sense of course). Teaching a class of people trying to be good speedcubers, only 2 have reached sub-30? Well, I guess the other people aren't all that...

[Help Thread] 3x3 Cross Help and Discussion

Badmephisto and Fazulz and many other youtubers have great tutorials on youtube about advanced cross. Check it out. They can really help.

Is it good to do cross on the left?

It is not a bad act, you might need a cube rotation or different F2L turns.

In general is sub 30 possible?

I'm quite sure the number is higher than that. Just count the number of people on youtube or social networks who post their sub-30 averages. I would guess, right now, around a 100 thousand (No, the above post did not affect my guess). Don't doubt it is a large number, it most likely is, though I...

    The One-Answer Question Thread [closed]

Ist off, using WCA inspection will not decrease your times, you will only suffer. But it will benefit you when you are competing in a WCA competition 2nd, to get sub 20, simply search around here. There are millions (a bit of sarcasm, but I estimate thousands to ten thousands) of threads in this...
