It's from Shogi, a Japanese board game similar to Chess (the name of the game kinda got stuck in my brain, though I haven't played it yet). I just altered the spelling a bit. Shogi is a bit similar to my nickname, Shodi (which I spell "Siyodi" sometimes for no reason :D).

We're pretty much opposites then. I solve better in front of the timer. I can cube faster when I am alone than with someone looking at me. :P
Wow. A hundred solves a day and all timed. Gotta try that someday. Haha.
I cube absolutely anytime and anywhere, as long as my hands have nothing to do. =)) at school, at home, while traveling, wherever. Haha.
With dedication, everything becomes closer. Sub-25 isn't far from you since you're improving constantly. (I think). :D
Maybe you should try cubing in...
@jokerman: My friend says so too (although he isn't into speedsolving), which is why I would love to try it. But it's the notation that really makes me feel different. Maybe it's just because I've been used to the notation for the regular cube.
