Thanks for the response Kit. I did not know about the insertion finder. That is a great tool, thanks for the help.

    The FMC thread

I got an interesting scramble during a 3x3 practice session. During my solve, I got to a point where all the edges were solved quite quickly which was very distracting. It made me wonder if there was any cool solution that could be applied using FMC. I've been quite rusty with this event, so I...

    The Square-1 "Example Solve" Game

    is my clock comp legal?

My guess is that it is fine, but as always, a picture would help a ton.

    One-Answer Square-1 Question Thread

In all honesty I just don't use them. Using a random state scrambler is easier. It sucks if you don't have one on you, but square -1 is a puzzle that allows for dumb scrambles. EDIT: I guess if you really want to hand scramble, I'd suggest scrambling it while in cube shape, and then leave...

    Hopefully this is more organized. I'll use the goal you posted since it's not a bad goal to have, and for consistency. Race to sub-13 ROUND 71 1. 10.09 2. 11.25 3. 11.97 4. 13.61 5. 11.34 6. 12.09 7. (15.43) 8. 11.19 9. 12.72 10. 11.15 11. 10.94 12. (9.28) Average of 12: 11.63

    Square-1 Race

I think it's fine. Square-1 is not too long of an event for 24 scrambles to be that time consuming. However, an average of 12 might be cleaner overall.

What approach is this? I have not seen it before. Is there a thread on it?
