1. KONY 2012 - Please watch

I don't understand, this has been going on for five years, people have known about it, and awareness is only being raised now?

We only care about whether someone is seated outside or inside, not the actual seat that they sat at. That being said, since four people refuse to travel outside and five refuse to travel inside, the remaining 11 people need to be seated. 4 need to be placed inside, and the remaining 7 will be...

How can a branch of math be the "hardest" if everything connects to each other? It's like you have a million puzzles pieces, and just as you learn a new branch of math you manage to put together a hundred pieces.... only to find out a thousand more are missing. What's difficult for someone...

square one question If you bring the square one into a cube shape and then pair each corner with the edge that belongs clockwise from it, you would essentially reduce the solving to solving a 2x2 with the subgroup {U,D,R2} by treating the corner/edge pair as one piece. Is there a method for this?
5. Edge Flip and Corner twist Proof?

I just had to bump this thread because this post is genius!

Insane respect for learning that much in one day!

Cool! The reason I asked this question was to see if it is possible to be like this guy; I see it is :) Yes, of course. On a sidenote, do you know any useful commutators other than 3cycles, 2edge flips, and 2corner twists? Those are the only ones I can do no matter what the...

Hi Is there anyone that uses a freestlye method (no pre-memorized algs) for the 3x3, or any other puzzle for that matter, with good times? edit: 'good' meaning 10-20 second for 3x3

7x7 of course, the bigger the better! Although I am also fond of some of the smaller puzzles like 3x3 and pyraminx.
10. [Unofficial] Pyraminx 3.17 avg12 (UWR on cam)

WOW 0_O CONGRATULATIONS!
11. Non-Cubers say the darndest things!

talking about pyraminx with my friend today: "I can solve four sides, but then it gets hard" :fp
12. The Future of Competitive Speedsolving (a discussion)

Going back to the first post, I don't think so. No one has yet discovered God's Algorithm, and that will surely take many years. Of course, there will probably be a barier for the 3x3, but like someone has already mentioned, big cubes have a long way to go. And so does blind and FM :)
