Remove 3x3x3 with Feet as an Official Event?

It seems your whole argument for keeping feet is that you hold the national record and don't want to lose the event you are good at. In order to solve a problem you have to look at it objectively, without letting your own ambitions get in the way. I'd be more down with Elbow Solving than with...

    I'm Sorry...and a few Remarks.

Obviously there were some things you did right and some things you did wrong. At least you manned up to the realization that you needed to apologize. Personally you calmed me down after one of my solves, I had a brief conversation with you, and it really helped me calm down seeing as it was my...

World Championships 2013 - Las Vegas

Thanks for the scrambles, it is a little late now but hey I now know how to use cube explorer to find a scramble. Also, unrelated but, reconstructing without a scramble takes some dedicated people. Never really appreciated Brest's (and others) work as much as I do after attempting it.

Where can the scrambles be found? I've searched and searched, but cannot find them. I expect them to end up right in my face. Thanks in advance.

New PB 3:09.51, shaved off another minute. I've chopped off seven minutes since I solved it for the first time a month ago. Hopefully its still dropping. Memo was [1:37.69].

    (Re-)considering The Limits

My apologies, I'm referring to Megaminx, the cubes past 4x4, and everything past 3x3 BLD. They all have a ways to go, I think. The longer events I guess, 2x2 definitely is right there. Pyra is close but still has just a bit left. I don't know clock at all so I couldn't give an opinion.

    (Re-)considering The Limits

As for limits, I don't think sub-3 is possible. 4 second average if there is one extremely dedicated individual. Though I don't like to say they have to be talented, it always is annoying for people to give credit to random heretical factors when the person has put so much time and effort into...

    (Re-)considering The Limits

This is by far the most insane drop. Of all the things that could've been imagined in that time period, if you told someone that there would be a 23 second blindfold solve to come, they probably would've slapped you.

    Blindfold Accomplishment Thread

Since my first BLD 9:39.91 I've dropped significantly. I brought my record down to 8:30. Dunno if I had one in the seven range but then 6:05. Then in recent days I've brought it down to 5:25. 5:04. And this morning I just solved in 4:27.78 [2:15.39].

    Breaking sub-30 on 3x3

Yeah your PLL and OLL is slow, but if you were to drop them to 3 sec per alg, you would lose about 6 seconds off your average. You average 45 seconds. You want to average sub-30. 45-6 =/= sub 30. Yes, you really should learn them, but the advice you came here searching for was to improve...

    3x3x3 Example Cross Thread

I would just go ahead and do the second on bottom, due to the simplicity. I usually solve on top and do the rotation during the cross. Oh my apologies, I did that wrong. I used the OP for the first and Ydded's for the second due to it being bolded. Next Scramble: U2 B2 R B2 L' U2 R2 U2 B2 D2...
