dont just blind practise. when i was ardd your timing took me about 3 weeks to get to sub25. my problem lies mainly on f2l. for f2l what i always do is when im inserting 1 pair, i rmbr exactly where is that pair so i can insert without looking and while doing that i can try to find another pair...
i like my type B with A core and D centers. randomly put some crap type D and useless type B together. the result is stunning. it is rather unpoppable and smooth
3x3x3 : 23.53 24.64 (POP) 25.01 (22.24) average = 00:23.85
very badly done, especially the pop, its hilarious actually, it actually poped on the scrambling...
2x2x2:
for me, i used the begginers method till i reach sub 1min, then switch to f2l( 3rd layer still using dan brown's LBL method) til sub 40 and started using 2look oll and pll till sub 30 and finally to 2 look oll and full pll till sub 25, this is where i am now.
learning full oll and pll...
took me quite awhile to get sub 30 constantly. but after a week of practicing f2l now im sub 25. basically practise on f2l, go slow look ahead and try not to be tense. when im relax i can actually do better than when im stressed
when i started solving my cross on the bottom it didnt affect me at all. partly because of the inspection? when the timer starts i just did what i visualize in my head and briefly check the cross before continueing
my 1st cube got confiscated by teacher!! since the stickers peeled off and it was a horrible cube ( lubed with wd-40) i didnt bother to get it back. did sub 40 average on it!
i can solve a cross within 8 move( most of the time ) but i haf a major problem, i execute them 2 slowly... mainly because i use lots of U moves and F moves.. this makes me palm the cross almost fully:( average time on cross is sub 5..
