Round 126: 21.70
24.84, 20.99, 21.45, 22.90, 25.58, 22.71, 20.07, 21.56, 21.30, 20.43, 19.57, 20.80
quite consistent :) still using my lunhui, but i have my Zhanchi and F-III in the mail so i'll use those when they get here
on the 5x5, theres one new algorithm, and one algorithm from 4x4 thats applied differently.
when pairing edges, you may end up with 2 unsolved ones, to move on edge-wing piece to the other edge, put it on your right and do l' U2 l' U2 F2 l' F2 r U2 r' U2 l2
and the other algorithm is to flip...
i wouldn't say they're dominating in 4x4, theres a good percentage that use others like the x-cube, maru, shengshou/ghosthand. 3x3's a different story.....
another contributing factor would be where you live. if there was a cube store in ontario i'd probably be spend the majority of my money there, if it had a good variety
from what i can tell due to my brief moments with the lingyun, its speed makes more lock ups, but its corner cutting is maybe a little worse than the guhong.
ok, so when theres a series of numbers like 3-2-2-2-3, it means you pair 3 edges, then 2, then 2 ,then 2, then 3. that goes for anything.
freeslice is when you pair up a pair, then instead of re-aligning the centers, you just continue solving pairs.
really, its possible to get sub 1:20 with 2...
in my personal experience, icubemart has higher shipping costs (i live in canada though,) but it arrived in 6 days, which is the fastest anything has shipped to me.
