On http://2x2.great-site.net/zz105.html you have all algs for DBR. There is always a 2-gen alg and a 3-gen {FRU} when its shorter. If you find better algs or any mistakes please let me know :) The algs were generated by me and most probably there are better algs for speedcubing.
That is correct, but you would have to recognize the shape not always in U-face + DFR but some other configurations too. And you would have to mirror the algs in all 3 axes.
I want to share some stats I've calculated for first step in different 2x2 methods. The values already calculated in this topic are correct according to my independent tests. Here I want to paste the first step for CLL stats. Full report on other methods is on my website here...
I see that in the algdb we already use visual cube that is deployed on the speedsolving wiki server, for example this one:
https://www.speedsolving.com/wiki/extensions/algdb/vcube/visualcube.php?fmt=png&bg=w&size=160&pzl=2&stage=ll&view=plan&case=RU2R2U%27RU%27R%27U2FRF%27
I meant Conrad Rider, sorry for the mistake. Maybe it would be possible to put the visual cube code on the speedsolving wiki server to not be dependant on external site stability?
And yes, I imagine that the process of replacing the images will be tedious (this is a perfect task for a bot...
Hey I just created an account on the speedsolving wiki and I would like to contribute. I have major experience in wiki editing (I'm admin on Civilization Wiki).
First thing I would like to contribute to is to unify images for alg cases. Is there any reason why we can't use visual cube from...
BRASS method is actually very similar to variant E not C.
The difference is that in BRASS you do:
1. Bar + permute DBR
2. Reduce to {RU} +orient DBR
While in MRUG variant E you do:
1. Bar + reduce to {RU}
2. Permute and orient DBR
The last third step is the same for both methods and it has a...
Hey, I want to share my 2x2x2 method (MRUG) which I've developed 11 years ago. The method consists of 2 phases:
PHASE 1:
orient the cube so that DBL is solved (depending on what color you want to start with)
solve DFL while reducing the cube to the {RU} group
Phase 1 has average of 3.52 moves...
I revived Absolute F2L page here: http://f2l.great-site.net/.
Also I have reuploaded my other pages

What algs do you propose? :)
Btw I found some nice algs for odd parity cases (in M2/R2):
These two are already on Stefan's web:
L2 y’ R’ U’ M’ U’ L U r2 F R U’ F R U x’ y’
r2 y’ R’ U’ M’ U’ L U r2 F R U’ F R U x y
Other cases:
r2 U’ R U l’ U2 R U’ M U M’ U’ R’ U2 l R U’ R2 U
r2 y’ R F’ U F...
Hi,
I have few questions regarding this topic and I'd like to explain some my thoughts about M2/R2.
Well, I was using typical-basic version of M2/R2 (with no improvements). My buffers are FD and FDR. Now, after reading this topic, I'm gonna improve my method, especially the ugly cases.
And...
