Chris Olson Solves Rubik's Cube for 5,500 people!

Haha no way, Feliks must have been there! Kids from my YG wanted me to go up on stage, but you still would have destroyed me. On a more serious note, Challenge was a great Christian youth conference, and I recommend any high school students who want to be encouraged in their faith to attend...

Chris Olson Solves Rubik's Cube for 5,500 people!

Yeah, I was trying to find you after that session, but I didn't have any luck. We stayed at the Westin hotel, and I solved cubes periodically in the lobby when I got bored. I met a couple other people that could solve cubes, surprisingly enough, but no one very fast.

    Iowa Open 2013?

I would be interested in going as live pretty close. I don't actually mind if it is held in November/December, but it will be tough to get a decent amount of people to come.

Poll: On average, are you faster under WCA competition or at home in practice?

For some reason at my first competition I did much better than I usually do at home -- I had a 17.05 average of 5 which almost beat my PB at home, and at the time I usually averaged around 19-20 seconds! It didn't seem like I was solving any faster than I usually did, nor were the scrambles...
