Is it competition-legal to stop the stackmat timer with your wrists after completing your solves (like in the videos)?

Is it competition-legal to stop the stackmat timer with your wrists after completing your solves (like in the videos)?
A6a) The competitor ends the solve by releasing the puzzle and then stopping the timer.
A6b) It is the competitor's responsibility that the timer is stopped correctly.
A6c) The timer must be stopped using both hands, with both hands flat and palms down. Penalty: 2 seconds.
A6d) The competitor must fully release the puzzle before stopping the timer. Penalty: 2 seconds.

I always thought you had to start/stop the timer with your fingertips, but that is not true according to A6c.

I always thought that too...but the regs don't say specifically with fingers for stopping...so stopping with palms/wrists/arms is fine, as long as hands are flat and palms down?

maybe we should re-word it?

Maybe it's time for some high-speed cameras then?

To be serious: no judge in the world could tell if the competitor has let go of the puzzle before hitting the timer at that speed.
