Ok,so one morning i was really bored practicing the fridrich method and so i came up with the idea of creating my own fast method..So i dont know why i was thinking of this 2x2 rubiks cube concept..and so i discovered that a person can solve the cube in 3 easy steps i discovered:
step 1= C.C.C
step 2= F.F2L.[P]
step 3= O/P(LL)
Ok so basically the O/P(LL) is just about orienting and permuting the last layer*(if you're familiar with the fridrich method you'll know what im talking about.)

Now with this C.C.C and F.F2L.[P] steps there is something a little more different.
So, normally when youre using fridrich or any other method that involves the cross into your 1rst step, your worried thinking about where all the pieces should move and about how to execute the cross in a fast way(6 or 7 movements or so)..But..with this method you wont have to think or worry about the cross at all.Now i dont want to give any more info regards this because i really want to ask a question to the people in here before i do it : Should i show this new discovery to the world or should i keep it as a secret weapon?

-Thanks=))

PS.The first time i used my method i solved the cube in 2 minutes, after the second i solved it in 1 minute and know i can solve it within 50 seconds while using it..

I've only been on this forum a couple of months and I've already seen 2 threads from people claiming they're going to devise a new speed method in a couple of years or so (without giving any details)...now this :fp

Yeah, it's really easy to think you've come up with a great new method (particularly if you're not that experienced with the advantages and disadvantages of current methods), but to detail a method and have it survive scrutiny is extremely difficult.

True, but announcing a new great method and NOT detailling it is just plain stupid.

Well it could be world beating(probably not) but how will you know whether or not to pursue this without some outer opinions, would be great if you detailed it then we could give you feedback, otherwise it was a stupid idea to even create this thread.
