I was on scdb and saw a few f2l algs use wide r moves to be rotationless, namely f2l 40 https://www.speedcubedb.com/a/3x3/F2L/F2L_40 and f2l 41 https://www.speedcubedb.com/a/3x3/F2L/F2L_41

are these algs worth learning and using? generally i'd do a rotation like (R U' R') d R' U' R U' (R' U' R) for f2l 40 and (R U' R') (U2 y') R' U' R U' (R' U R) for f2l 41 which can be executed pretty quick and i'm guessing is better for lookahead since i'm not used to wide r moves

For F2L 40 i think F' L' U2 L F R U R' is best, for 41 i like the inverse R U' R' F' L' U2 L F. Lookahead isn't an issue

I solve on white cross only, and I have a hard time following reconstructions (on cubeDB.net) when the cross is done on other colors.

Is there a systematic way to modify the scrambles so that the proposed solutions stay the same but for white cross?

Take note of the cross colour used in the reconstruction. Before scrambling, rotate the cube so that white replaces that colour.

Hello. I just received a hundred mini 3x3s that I’m going to take to Malawi, Africa during a missions trip in August. I’m going to distribute them at a couple of orphanages. I need a beginners method printable tutorial that I can make lots of copies of. Preferably 1-2 pages since I’m going to make a bunch of copies. Thanks

Edit: some of the kids speak English and some don’t. So preferably something with lots of pictures

Can someone please help me. If you can, I want to practice kilominx. But, I need scrambles, because cs timer has no kilominx scrambles. I would like an average of 1000. (But if you can't, that's fine).
Thanks
