Selling Magnetic clocks with different features than a normal one!

Hello! So on a recently started thread, I talked about an idea. It was to, sell magnetized clocks, but, they have some feature that most people don’t add. So, I’m hoping to have these options:
-I can lube it with DNM-37 AND the gears will be lubed with grease instead of normal lube (if I have/find time.) NOTE: The grease is supposed to be better than normal lube for gears so that’s why I’m gonna use it.
-Two part epoxy for glueing ring magnets so they stay in longer
-And something that helps a lot, trimming the springs to reduce the catching GREATLY.
If you want, you can send me your clean LingA/Rubiks clock and I will apply the modifications. Price is negotiable.
These should be made in about a week to 2 weeks. If you want to order one, the price is negotiable right now. I do not have a set price. For the first batch, I only will be making two clocks. If I get interest, I will make more. Please PM me if you are interested.

I think this is a really great idea. I might think about getting in to clock, if I do, I will definitely get one of yours. Also, around what price were you thinking it would cost to buy one? I know you said you didn't have a set price yet I was just curious about a range of what you think the price will be.

So since two part epoxy takes a lot longer to dry, you literally have to hold the mags in place for like 10 mins, it would be more than a normal magnetic. Then, the springs are trimmed so that’s more labor. So my starting price with just mags would be $35 USD but for this probably like $50-$60 dollars. But, I still don’t have a firm price yet.

CornerCutter sells his clocks for $45, so an extra $10-15 for what you do, instead of only being lubed + mags, isn't much.

Also, if someone sends you their clock, would it be less, since you don't have to buy the clock?

yes It would be cheaper.

Yes he does, but he doesn’t trim the springs, and he doesn’t lube the gears with grease, and he doesn’t use two part epoxy which is what most of the extra pricing is for.

I'm going to challenge you on all of those fronts.
To my knowledge, @CornerCutter does all of those things minus the epoxy, and to make up for not using epoxy he has some other tricks to make the magnets stick more. If you want to learn them you can go watch his videos.

@CornerCutter please correct me on this if I am wrong.

My point is that your price isn't expensive, considering you do a bunch more for only $15 extra.

I don’t want the price t be repelling, but still enough to make profit

If you plan on selling them for any more than $50, potential buyers might just be better off buying the Angstrom clock (once it's available again).
...

I fear the day the angstrom clock starts getting big boy produced.
Also, like I said I don’t have a set price yet.
Also great way to repel people from this lol.

I don't trim the springs, but I do remove the plastic residue off the dials. If you want to see exactly how I make mine, watch my two tutorials.

I'm not trying to say that your clock won't be good, or even great. I'm just saying that unless you price it cheap enough compared to the Angstrom, people will gravitate toward that instead since so much time and research was put into it that it'll probably be simply better than anything anyone who doesn't put in that time/effort/money could make.
I didn't mean to imply that you shouldn't bother, and I apologize if I made it seem that way. Just be careful. I'm sure there's still a market for a good clock that isn't as expensive as the Cubicle's ;)

So with you guys feedback, I think I can make the price 45 dollars. I’m still making profit, so it works out. If you send me the clock, I can do it for about 20 dollars.
