Some of them will announce "FIRST TURNS" before turning the cube.

They'll use freakishly large knives to open boxes

Record video of an Ao100, but only show their best 5 and call it an Ao5.

    Any others?

    - Intro music is generic poppy electronic music #3752
    - Channel name is [two initials]Cuber
    - "This has the chance to be a lot of people's mains"... dunno the conflict between subject "This" and plural noun "mains" sounds so awkward to me
    - Older videos where people still said "Yewks-in" and "Q-I-Y-I"

No offense to any YouCubers :D... I only notice this stuff because I subscribe to a bunch of them and watch/like a ton of their videos. Really appreciate what they do!

    New cubers who fake solves.

New Youcubers who have high end cameras, and can't even focus them

"the cube is so smooth" I've heard this about so many different cubes, this means nothing anymore. I just expect this whenever a new cube comes out.

or this subcategory of "the cube is smooth":

"this cube has a smooth and x feel" (x typically being bumpy, but can be crunchy, etc.) or something like that. Like dude smooth and bumpy don't go together

Man this is driving me nuts... I kinda hinted at it above... YouCubers who make absolutely no effort to figure out how to pronounce the names of the cubes and just kinda "wing it" for their for actual videos.

Wuque is giving these folks a tough time

  12. When they list the equipment in the description and feel the need to say the brand of pop filter they use. That's kinda the cubing equivalent of saying that you use specifically a Scraprerite brand sticker remover. Just looks silly.

    Over there
When they reupload a 240p screen capture of a WR video without asking permission of the owner of the footage.
When they don't turn on a light or put on a shirt before recording.
When they self-advertise on the channels of bigger YouTube cubers.
When they say they'll never buy from a store again because they don't like the cube they got.
When they overuse the phrase, "on the market."
When they always upload the same types of videos and never try to improve them.
When they upload world record compilation videos for views.
When they copy one of Colorful Pockets' videos word-for-word.
When they try too hard to be #relatable with non-cuber-related videos.
When they eat during their videos.
When they film on the floor.
When they're obviously just in it for the subs.
When they ask me to hook them up with one of my friends who's five years older than them.

I can honestly say I've seen every single one of these. And I myself am probably guilty of some (but definitely not that last one; that's weird m8). :p

    Not saying Yuxin right.

    Coping JR cuber.

Using Tobu colors for the outro
    Using Holiday for intro
    XY cuber
Looking at the cube a long time before turing it
    Struggling with plastic wrap
    "What is up guys"
Not having it from a good angle

  15. - Newer YouCubers use anything other than a SpeedStacks timer or csTimer.
    - Newer YouCubers will thank the cube store in a way that implies they are sponsored.
    - I have seen people who are new to YouTube forget a part of their username and say "Cube" instead of "Cubing" or the like.
    - Lots of smaller channels are now doing water bottle flips and trickshots.
    - Some smaller channels seem to think that saying something that is clearly not true makes a video a comedy.
    - Some edit way too much, some don't edit at all, and some simply edit very badly. For example, I've seen a person who will edit a subscribe button into the end of their videos, which is fine, but they use a small, low-resolution image that has been stretched to fill more space. It also has a white background, it is clearly a random clipart from Google, and it's been stretched more vertically than horizontally. Then they tell you to like the video and edit in a Facebook like button.
    - They put in the same background music as everyone else, and make it loud.
    - Some of them somehow managed to get more popular than TheProgrammingCuber while solving on a blue cross.
    - They have a totally genius way to improve your times, but they make a rather low-quality video about it, which, as a rhetorical device, makes you not want to listen just because of that. It's like when I would never order from CubeDepot because they don't have a professional logo. Once I saw a guy who always used a J-perm instead of a T-perm on 2x2 because it offered better AUF opportunities. This is an excellent idea, but he didn't do the best quality video on it, so I'm having trouble implementing it because my mind thinks that he is not a credible source.
