Guys, I perform the R2's with the wrist, the U with the index finger but I've seen it performed faster where it doesn't look like the wrist is being used for the R2's. How do you guys perform it?

I refuse to do U but I will to U'.

    I got a 0.99 after like 5 tries.

That doesn't persevere the the already oriented corners.

I must be thinking of a different case...

  9. No, he's just using this alg to affect the OLL case (to get a skip).

0.93 first try, but yeah just sledge x3.
    EDIT: 0.75, fun to execute

I was actually just looking at this alg a couple days ago. It's really nice, and I've switched

  12. Sort of, but more like corner controlling. Do R' F R F' 3 times to set up. If you were to solve this normally (R U R' U' x3) you would get an OLL case to do. But if instead you solve the pair by doing R' F R F' x3 (or R2 U R2 U R2 U2 R2) you will skip OLL.

    I think y' R2 U' R2 U' R2 U2 R2 might be faster... seems to be for me, anyway.

i find that gripping the FR edge with my middle finger and the BR edge with my thumb makes the alg easier to excecute. also, do the second U move with your ring finger.

I grab the first R2 from behind so my thumb is on the back face and my other four fingers are on the front face and I can switch onto the first U with ease.

earlier in the thread it was mentioned that it had a different effect on the corners... however it's the same effect as Triple Sledge hammer (R' F R F') which I find faster.

this is a better alg when you want to save other corners....

i use ( R U R' U' 3) when i see two corners not placed in the last layer but when i have only one corner to be placed in the last layer i prefer (R' F R F')
