Welcome to the sixth year of Inter-University Cube Relay! Japanese universities kicked things off later than usual this year, competing head-to-head in a relay competition at Circle Open 2017 Spring on March 4, 2017.

For scrambles, rules, and registration, see the official relay page. There's also a Facebook event page.

Universities have long been centers of competitive cubing, and many top cubers are university students. Last year, University of Waterloo won with a total time of 44.80. Which school will claim the title of this year? Tell your schoolmates!

Register your team by 04/30/2016 (soft deadline). Submit your result by 05/31/2017.

Congrats to Cal for their third win in this contest, this time with a time of 47.42 seconds. Thanks to everyone who participated! Full results with videos: http://cubefreak.net/contests/universityrelay/results.php

It's time for me to pass on both the Inter-University Cube Relay and the Negative Time Solving Contest. I asked Lucas Garron to host them on cubing.net. Please let me or Lucas know if you want to help.
