Aha a old video from back when you was young :)

I almost forgot how we used to cover the cube after inspection.

Three twelves in a row back then was rather incredible, and this average was as far i remember more then a second better then the previous one held by Macky.

That last solve looked weird, like you made a mistake

and PLL's took 2-3 seconds EVERY time

retro-cubing :)
I was just nervous, so a 2-corner OLL took almost 5 seconds. I'm still a bit :( about it. Even nowadays sub-7 F2L is much easier for me than a sub-4 LL.

Looking at the result list from this competition sure takes me back. I didn't remember that Anssi broke the WR in the semi as well. He also broke the feet WR for the first time? and the OH ER both single and avg.

I got in to the 3x3 semifinals with a 39.84 avg :)

Thomas Kohn from Germany who was there was a bit of a special guy, he actually hitchhiked all the way from germany just to participate in this competition. I think i also later was in german TV-show doing some cubes OH underwater! Looking at his WCA profile I se that he stopped cubing in 2006.
