An OLL case more easily solved with two step, than with one step

    The attached case is more easily solved in my opinion with the common F U R U' R' F' alg followed by the sune case R' U' R U' R' U2 R.

Daily full OLL Tutorial (All 57 cases)

Hello, so I am doing daily OLL videos so as we can complete learning OLL quickly and not procrastinate. Doing this, we are learning multiple algs for the same OLL from different angles and also showing you how to recognize and execute. Other viewers are also posting the algs that they use and...

    Progressing in speedcubing [Opinions]

I recently started cubing 5 days ago. I uses the beginner tutorial on ruwiks to learn to solve the cube, I used that method along with minor shortcuts to slowly improve my pb from ~5 mins to my current 1:00.10. I am now practing 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL and have almost learnt both fully. Is...

    I feel like a failure

I have been cubing for 6-7 weeks now, and I can't get lower than a one minute average. But that's not the bad part. I have memorized 4 look last layer, I know intuitive F2l, and I have been practice constantly. Yet is still have this awful split of : 10-30-10-10 (cross-f2l-oll-pll)

    What's this algorithm?

Threre was this Oll algorithm that skips Pll. My friends always use it and i can tfigure what it is bcz its to fast. I think it was the blinker which is like 2 in the back pointing away from you and 2 goignto the right and the left. They said that it was like using sexy move andn like using the...

How do cubers make their own algorithms for PLLs and OLLs?

I have watched many videos and have seen every top cuber like felicks, mats and chris olson do their own algorithms for PLLs and there are so many algs for each PLL on speedsolving wiki. My question is, how do they make these algorithms.............do they use conjugates . Can anybody give me...

    Branching OLL to PLL Cases?

I'm not sure if anyone has discovered this before but at some point when I was practicing OLLs, I noticed a few PLL cases pop up after OLL. However, only 6 or 5 out of the 21 were sure to have a chance of popping up. For example, I would finish this case: and then I'd get a Z perm or a U perm...

How do I get faster at OLL/PLL?

I know one-look on both. I know I need to drill algorithms, but I don't know how I should be drilling them, if that makes any sense. Also for OLL, I feel like some of my algorithms are inefficient, and I'm not sure if I should change them. Any help is appreciated.

    OLL Sheet

Hey All, How's it going! So, I made a blank OLL Sheet for my subscribers which I will be uploading soon to Youtube, but before doing that, I though of sharing it with all of you. So, this is a blank and editable word document and I just included pictures and no algs so that you can include...

    Too young to learn algorithms?

I am an 11 year old boy that is new to speed cubing. I started learning 2 look oll, 2 look pll and basic f2l about a month ago. I for some reason cannot memorize new algorithms(particularly the olls bow-tie and chameleon) they just don't register and I have practiced them for 4 days. I was...

I'd like to know how often an all-edges OLL case can be forced using VHLS, ZBLS, etc.?

    Practise schedule?

So I have been using F2L for a while but my recognition is poor, I have a decent time of 42.53 but I want to get faster. I have been using the beginners method for the last layer but I want to learn 2-Look OLL and PLL, I was just wondering, should I focus on my F2L first? or learn 2-Look OLL and...
