Hello everyone, one question, why are we in megaminx's 4llll tutorials, they teach how to swap the edges and then the corners instead of swapping the corners first and then the edges?
Hi guys,
If you know me well enough, you should know a new post from me means some new kind of resource.
As the title suggests, I'm finally releasing the first version of my megaminx dot OLL sheet. I feel like it's a very nice update over Nicholas Naing's previous best alg sheet.

I do better on megaminx than 4x4 but I’m slightly faster on 4x4 than megaminx. I like megaminx a bit more as I found it really fun, and I don’t get annoying parties like on 4x4. Both are not very easy to look ahead tho.
I know it's completely impracitcal at there is already I think 517 algs for 2lll but I'm just curious, and if it is a thing, how many algorithms are there for it?
Hi!
After a while I'm finally making one of these, I will be practicing every WCA event (except BLD events 3x3 BLD and MBLD have a small chance)
I just got my 5x5-7x7, square 1, and clock so I don't know how to do every puzzle (I just need 7x7 and square-1) nor do I have an ao5 for everything...
Hello, I am a new-ish cuber. I know how to solve a megaminx but I am extremely (yes, very, very, very, extremely) slow. I do the cross and then intuitive f2l for the first couple of layers. For the part of the solve where you make triplets of pieces with one corner and two edges, I do a...

Sorry if I'm missing some info. First time posting about a record.
I have long been looking for an interesting megaminx shape mod as I already have tons of skewb shape mods, but there are not many mass-produced megaminx mods. I have the ss phoenix megaminx which is too simple for me, the ss crazy megaminx which is not a shape mod, and I am considering the...
Kilominx and Megaminx God's Number searches are already pretty tight, at 18-34 and 48-194 respectively in terms of their lower and upper bounds verified, but I couldn't find much on other same-shaped puzzles such as Gigaminx or Teraminx, so using the same method as ones used for calculating...
So I was wondering, what are the best/most popular algorithms and methods for megaminx? Right now I’m averaging around 5:00, and looking to improve as much as I can before summer comps. Any help is appreciated thanks.
Being a Roux solver, I am not a huge alg-learning machine, instead preferring intuition, blockbuilding, and commutators. Megaminx last layer is not particularly conducive to this approach with the conventional methods. I know that efattah and some others have worked on tripod LL for megaminx...
