How long will it take for my Lubix Fusion to break in?

Hi I am new to this forum and just started speed cubing. I have played with my Lubix GuHong for around a week and am wondering how long it will take to break in.

For those who have Dayan cubes espically zhanchi's. Do you gouts have having to adjust the pieces when the corner pieces start to space? Well, I was thinking of applying plastic glue to the inside of the pieces, so they don't space. And the glue might even act as a sound reducer to the clickyness. Suggestion? Opinions? And if at all is there a program out there to help me learn I'll/pll algorithms?

Uhm, what is the 'right' proportion for time in 2,3,4,5,6 and 7?
My average time for
2x2: 7s
3x3: 16s
4x4: 60s~64s
5x5: 120s
6x6: ~4:30
7x7: ~7:30

I think my times are weird considering there are people who can sub me in 3x3 but not in 4 and 5. Then they can beat me in 6 and 7 too.

I think it's just one of those things that depends on practice, and what you want to specialise in. For example: I would say I specialise in big-cubes out of 2-7, and my proportions are like this:
2x2: 5s
3x3: 13-15s:
4x4: 55-60s
5x5: 97s
6x6: 2:55
7x7: 4:20

There isn't really a 'right' proportion.

Yea, I think so too, there isn't a 'right' proportion. I think I have to rephrase my question. =__= Sorry!

If I avging around 16s in 3x3, how much more can I push my time for 4,5,6 and 7 if I'm using regular redux? as they uses CFOP too.

At which time range will be the quickest I could get with 'maximum' redux and avging 16s in 3x3?

At that point I'd say that the neutral limiting factor is your tps. If you concentrate on redux I think sub40 redux on 4x4 is very possible, and so is 1:10 5x5 redux :)

I can sub40 redux (finish edge pairing), around 80% of the time. Just that my CFOP and sometimes parity slow me down to 60s range. Though still a long way to go to get 1:10redux.

Even if you never touched a 3x3 at all for the next year, you would probably improve at it to some extent if you practiced 4-7 a lot because, as you say, they use CFOP too. You can't really give a limit on your advancement on 4-7 based on your current 3x3 speed, as your speed on the 3x3 stage of reduction will naturally improve while practicing 4-7.

Anyway, I average 12-13 on 3x3 and can do 40 second averages on 4x4, and I still have a lot of room for improvement even outside of the 3x3 parts of the solve. So if you want to improve at bigcubes, practice bigcubes and don't worry about your 3x3 speed right now.
