Orange from Moyu stickers

Hi,

today I realised that the orange on one of my Moyu cubes completely changed. I wonder how this happened and if it goes back to normal maybe.
The orange on the cube one the right changed, it's darker now. The red and orange also don't contrast very well anymore.

Have you had it out in the sun? For some reason the MoYu orange changes in the sun. Unfortunately it does not change back. Happened too my AoLong.

Happened to me too. The sun bleaches them making them more translucent so the black shows through.

Someone else posted that it happened to them, but the cube was scrambled. So some orange are flat and some are flouro. You're lucky it was uniform

Yes. Mine was scrambled at the time so in poor light it looked like I had about 13 reds.

How long does it take in the sun to change?

I'm scared... my cube is fairly old, but still hasn't changed. If anything, it's a mixture in between the two you showed.

From a friend his solution was simply to leave it in the sun again for an afternoon, it's not perfect, but better than having different colored stickers. I'd advise you to buy new stickers if you are scared.

Oh, I don't have different colored stickers, but the shade on all of them are halfway in between.
I'm scared that they will change, because I leave them in an open area.
And new stickers cost money. :<

Will this happen from keeping the cube under a lamp, or only from the sun? (I'm thinking of getting an Aolong and I keep all my cubes stacked under a lamp)

Ya my aolong's orange has changed too. Luckily my eyes actually got used to it and I don't think it's really affected the cubes performance.

How has it changed? Only from being out in the sun?

it happened to my aochuang, I just happily replaced the stickers ( I do not like moyu yellow or orange)

It's happened to my moyu skewb, i leave it in the box during an afternoon and the stickers under the plastic windown became darker. But after waiting a long time(4-5 months) the différence became less significant and today i don't see the difference when i use this cube. So change your stickers or wait for a long time

I had a weilong and I thought that the stickers had just gotten junk on them. I tried to rub it off but it did nothing, and now I know why!

I had this happen again yesterday. I was only out for 15 to 20 mins and the orange stickers went very dull. The cube was solved at the time so at least they were all the same but I didn't like the colour so I gave it away.

It's just a Guanlong. I have loads of them.

if you leave only the orange side in the sun they turn brown
