I had a mistake, his age is 82 now.
>Administrator please correct thread title.

82 years old Hideaki Tomoyori beat his own current WR (80 years old) at Waseda Brain Challenge 2015.
Scramble: R2 U2 R2 D' B2 U L2 R2 D' F R U2 F L' D R' B' L R2 Uw
He used Japanese color scheme, so blue and yellow are interchanged.

He also amazingly updated his solving time in spite of aging him.
26 min to 13 min ! SpeedCubing can be lifework for everyone :)

Yeah very inspiring for continuous speedcubing.
I think age stats, such as oldest solvers and age vs speed, are quite nice to see, although those stats cannot be seen now unfortunately. Tomoyori-san also wants those stats to come back. :)

And I know have no excuse for not being able to complete a BLD solve anymore.

Amazing stuff. And freestyle corners?

Yes, it´s a great pity that they took away the stats for the old solvers. (Someone was afraid that our children in that case would incite us to death).
