Welcome :) Being a girl, I also noticed there weren't many of us around here. Maybe because cubing is considered geek? I guess guys don't really mind being identified as geeks, but girls do. But like MovingOnUp said, fast girls get known pretty quickly. I'm not one of them, but maybe someday...

I love big cubes too. Well, I only have a 4x4x4 and a Megaminx, but I really prefer big puzzles. I mean, the Magic is fun to do, but a 1 sec goal isn't exactly my thing. I'd rather spend more time on a big puzzle, shifting many pieces.

Since competitions aren't about being super fast
it's more about having fun and meeting like-minded people
and also getting your pb in competition
