So I just noticed this subforum is on 999 threads. Thought I would take number 1000 :) . Need a topic though...

I thought of something! Do an average of 1000 (anything) and post your results!!

LMAO. By the time I had done 1000 solves, if I wasn't at least sub 1:30 I would be annoyed :) . It doesn't necessarily have to be about cubing, go do 1000 push ups as quick as you can! :D

Or maybe we could do a cumulative. I just did 200 pushups, 300 sit ups, and 10 3x3x3 solves between sets.

lol, you could have a cubeathlon where you have to solve 10 cubes, swim 100 meters, solve a cube under water, solve 3 cubes while riding a bicycle, then solve 5 cubes while running, then maybe shoot on target with a handgun while doing OH solve with the free hand, and finally enter the final encounter in a huge cave where you have to complete a BLD solve in total darkness, and then you are done.
that would be funny

1000 quarter-turns on a 3x3x3 in 3:55.62 (doing R U R' U') - average of 4.244 turns per second. This is one reason why I'm so slow at 3x3x3 solves - I just don't turn the cube fast enough.

Wow, that was agony. I had to stop for a few seconds several times along the way (my left thumb got too painful), which hurt my average a little (but not really that much).

This sounds like fun. Someone should set it up for the next Rubik's world championship :) .

Would you believe it, I went for 1000 quarter turns doing R U' R' U, and it locked on 999 so I dind't finish :p . 2:46.33, which means 6 turns per second I think. Not very good, but it is a warm up so :p .
