So, I'm working on another lolmethod.

If someone can help me with alg-finding, that would be awesome; others can now and later use this thread to request help with alg-generation/finding for odd systems that they're working on.

What I need is this:
The flipped edge ELS cases with each 6 CPLL cases. In total, 12 decent algorithms.

I've gone the through the CPEOLL list on the wiki and made some modifications for the cases above those, but for these two, I seem to be having some difficulty.

Thanks, and ask away,
~statue

@Statue: I like the concept of this thread, but it seems that it will turn into those of us who are very comfortable using ACube, or another similar program, will end up posting lots of algs for when people ask for them.

Perhaps a detailed explanation on how to setup ACube to search for what you're looking for would be more helpful? As in, rather than giving you a list of algs, I could give you the ACube input that would find what you're looking for?

Or are you moreso looking for already filtered algs that are generally "good" algs to choose from for this case?

Chris

Mainly, I was suggesting this thread as a source to help sort through filtered algs, and perhaps share algs that don't have a place elsewhere.

For example, if someone thinks about a method that uses x y and z, but z has not been published much, one could ask for help in furthering the method.
Doing so, someone else may come along who has been secretly researching step z for a method that uses f g and z, and can share the algs that they've already composed sometime in the past.

side-note:
I've been on-and-off working on (fixing Dan's original) a program that takes badmephisto's Gripper and Acube and ports them together with a GUI, but the GUI that Dan created is not Windows friendly. Because of this, I shall be creating a new GUI soon, and porting Gripper+acube to this.

Once this is done, I think that it shall really help out; cube explorer is nice, but acube seems to give out better solutions for some reason.

N-PLL have diagonal corner permutation and that is not possible to solve in less than 13 moves no matter the edge case (Y and V are the others). In 13 moves or more you cannot expect any good alg. OK if it was RU but that does not change corner permutation so it need to have some F or L moves at least.

But you said 'decent', I like the classic that does a F2L pair swap twice: 2x(R' U L' U2 R U' L). Mirror for the other case...

Uhm...an F-perm in the <M,U,R,F> group. M, M', or M2 is required. Thanks. Even algs that are not so decent will be appreciated.

For the N's I found the traditional Alg (that uses all L,U, and R) to be really awkward switching grips all the time. So what I do is a z rotation so the U becomes R then do it all from there (feels a little like Rowe's E-Perm) so for example Nb is: z D' R U' R2' D R' U D' R U' R2' D R' U R'
I'll need to check that later as I dont have a cube now. Also note the U and D' in the middle can be done at the same time as a kinda slice move. I think this can be done really quickly (it's certainly one of my fastest PLL's, however before I got my Guhong I would lock up all the time on it.

Face optimal H-PLL : R L U2 R' L' (y) R' L' U2 R L

Also note the U and D' in the middle can be done at the same time as a kinda slice move.

I do that in the RUL version, last move of first repetition and first move of the second together.

This mabye, (x) R2 U2 M R U r' U2 l U' r U2 M' U'

Looks much the same as Lucas alg and I guess he also got it from modifying the face optimal one you get from cube explorer.

Here are more, but you have to sort it :p (I did as Chris said, the stupid search instead of telling how, but Cube Explorer, not ACube =)

Could anyone provide me with a decent Na and Nb perm? I can't find any good ones.

Na: R U R' U R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F' R2 U' R' U2 R U' R' - Notice how this starts out with R U R' U as a setup then you do the Jb perm and it cancels out into the U' R U' R' (first U' here is now a U2 because the end of Jb perm is U', if you do the RUR'F' Jb perm, anyhow)

Nb: R' U R U' R' F' U' F R U R' F R' F' R U' R
