It's still unsolvable... 2 midges are swapped...

I didn't see anything wrong with it, but to be safe, I'm restarting and entering a scramble sequence rather than manually entering the position in 64-bit base-16 code in C.

If this doesn't work, I'll be upset!

M2 OP Algs please.

I've forgotten how to do 3BLD so I'm in the process of re-learning it. I can't remember any of the algs I used to use and I'm not having any luck finding particular algs. I've been googling and searching on here for over an hour and all I've found were algs for the following

UB (A): M2

UF (C): U2 M' U2 M'

FU (I): D M' U R2 U' M U R2 U' D' M2

BU (Q): B' R B U R2 U' (M2) U R2 U' B' R' B

BD (S): M2 D U R2 U' M' U R2 U' M D'

DB (W): M U2 M U2

I cannot for the life of me find the alg I used to use for M parity. All I've found are algs that fix parity but also swap edges. I don't want to have to use a pll after parity.

Please help! I'm looking for the following.
M parity
edge flip
Corner twist
And any other alg that would be very useful for this method.

I'm currently doing edges first with M2. THen corners with OP.

Thank you.

I forgot to mention that I don't have access to videos which is making my search difficult. I don't have wifi where I am and can't burn my data on you tubing my questions.

For parity, do D' L2 D M2 D' L2 D. For Corners, you can do set up moves to a pure corner OLL for multiple, or you can just execute two targets per flipped piece (Ie to rotate UFR clockwise, you can memo UFR RFU) same goes with edges.

2x2 Help

Hello, I am fairly new to the cubing community and have been looking at tutorials all around to learn how to solve multiple cubes. One problem i sometimes get stuck on with the 2x2 is that I have the bottom face correct, the bottom layer correct and to top face correct, but not all of the top corners are in the right place... two have to be switched diagonally. Is there an algorithm to switch the two corners without messing up the rest? Thanks in advance.

Without using SiGN, how would one describe the solution to this?

Hold thw cube with one of the white/yellow faces facing you. Turn the outside most layer on one side, then the outermost 3at the same time, then the outermost 5...

Turn the cube so the red/orange coloured side is facing you and repeat

Turn the cube so the green/blue side is facing you and repeat.

I don't think that works since it's not a standard checker pattern. I might be misunderstanding you though.

It might be a checker pattern, in addition to the center swap alg executed on the outermost layer, but it's hard to tell.

Is it possible to solve this in 13 moves or fewer?

I was surprised when my program said a 13-move solution was unavailable.

Other center arrangements of this sort had 11- and 12-move solutions. I thought a simple F' would have led to a 12-move solution it solved previously.

Sometimes the program finds an n-move solution at depth n+1 when move generator alignment is not synchronized with the database's first move in the solution. I wonder if that's the case here.

One-Answer Question - 3x3 cube

Hey guys,
I'm new to cubing and almost have my cube solved, all the pieces are in the correct spaces except UF and UB aren't orientated correctly. Could anyone tell me a move to solve this?
Thanks,
PlagueRider
