[Help Thread] Lubrication Thread

So i got a bottle of big maru lube. I heard that it was very good. But the problem was the lube won't come out of the cap! Anybody know a solution to this?

Anyone a fan of 30k for big cubes?

30k works very well in big cubes.

I experienced this problem when I got traxxas. I thought it was broken or something, but it turns out you have to cut the cap off with scissors.

Not to troll or anything but if you watched some sort of review of the lube you bought before hand it would probably have mentioned something about having to snip off the cap, or at least the ones that I watched have.

never watched a review of traxxas lol
but i figured i had to snip it for it to come out since i saw no hole on top xD, and also because the cap wouldn't fit

I kind of assumed that since we all "geniuses" that it would be a given to snip off the top



*the genius is in reference to us being able to solve the rubik's cibe

i've found that 20 wt shock oil made my rubik's brand as smooth as a main cube, but even with mods, it still locks up too much.

opinions on traxxas diff oil?

i was about to buy lubix when i found out about traxxas and i was wandering if its basically the same thing? if its better value for money? and so on. thanks

I notice no difference at all.

You can find a lot about that if you do a search. In my experience with Lubix and Traxxas (50k), they result in the same feel and speed. I actually only use it for the core now, and much prefer Maru lube.

Traxxas is fine, I have used it for a year, works like a charm.

I prefer traxxas over lubix, and so does my wallet.
I use a mixture of traxxas 50k and lubix in my cubes

because it's AWESOME! I would highly suggest it. It takes the best quality of both lubes and creates a really amazing feel.

OK you lot convinced me to try it. Just ordered a 50k bottle off of Ebay. Wait and see

Seems like the cheapest solution for me, Others have their shipping rates is more than the price of the product itself lol.

I like traxxas, it's staying in in stead of Lubix.

Now I saw there is also 10k and 30k and maybe others as well.

Which "k" is closest to Izolube?
