I was in the same boat and my left hand is beginning to get better with each passing day. What I did was I learned the reflection algos for a lot of the PLLs that can be reflected. For example the Y, R, T, J algorithms. I've even extended using my left hand more during the F2L.
Thanks for the clarification Mike! I haven't read any of the numerous WCA rules and I have never been in a competition. I will scramble in that manner. I hope to have some results by tomorrow evening at the latest. I'm expecting somewhere around 50-55 seconds.
3x3x3 cube orientation before scramble?
Is there a standard orientation of the cube to use when scrambling the cube? For example, white on top and green in front?
I'm thinking about getting into this weeks competition and I couldn't find anything in the rules/regulations for these...
Hello all. I've been mucking around with the 3x3x3 for a couple of months now and I've got all but 2 of the PLLs and a handful of the OLLs mem'ed. I figured I'd step it up a notch and try my 4x4x4.
I was able to solve it using the reduction method but this method seems a bit cumbersome...
Thank you for this nice little app. Great timing too... I've got just 2 more PLLs to learn. This will definately help me lower my times and recognition.
I've only been cubing for a few months now and I've found it easier for color recognition while learning the F2L, OLL (still learning), and PLL. From what I've read on this and other sites there's a trade-off for both being color neutral and sticking with just one color. I decided to follow...
Broken Brain...
After reading some threads and watching youtube viedos and looking at some of the java applets explaining how to do do the extended cross yesterday the resistance in my brain finally broke. Now I have a basic understanding of the method and if I can help those break through the...
Did they recommend a type of glue? I just received my first DIY yesterday and I put it together. Also am I supposed to glue all but the centers as well?
