This, combined with using your resources (wiki, youtube, past posts, etc) properly. You can get pretty good with a well groomed Rubik's brand, but I'd recommend "upgrading" to a "speedcube" soon. You don't have to jump on the latest hype. I personally stick to Ghost-hands and Guhongs. Anything...
