    Czech Open 2011

Just arrived... Congrats Japan! :) We've hat a cool time at Pardubice. I was a bit bummed out after Multi and Single BLD (1:16 with a 20sec delay during execution), but solved a 5x5 and improved my 4x4 PB by quite a bit. Congrats to Marcell and Tim for their ERs. I know they both practiced...

How long before your first sub1 BLD? And other misc questions

I started practicing BLD probably around May 2007 and got my first sub-1 in November 2007. I think sub-1 was achieved by Danyang, Marcus Stuhr, Rowe, Rafal, Matyas (maybe), Chi Chu, Joey (maybe a bit later) and me. Sorry, if I'm forgetting somebody. It took me until 2010 to do it in comp. [Unofficial] Kai 36.68 BLD solve

    Happened totally out of the blue. I was taping just for fun. Wanted to catch something faster than my 48 on tape. If this counts as non-lucky it's PB. Scramble: L U2 B2 D' U2 R B F' L B' L2 U D2 F2 D U L D2 L2 D2 F2 D' L2 D2 B2 I love Tim Habermaas.

    [Unofficial] World Domination, Day 1

They both used the same piece-by-piece approach for edges (M2) and corners (Y-Perm) with the same prepared solutions. That way you can create a generic way of approaching each scramble. The way they did it, one person has to mirror his moves though (Stefan's idea of course :P).
