[Help Thread] ZZ and ZB Discussion

I hate F moves with a passion. My RUL moves are fine, it's mostly my thinking that is slow on that front when doing F2L, not my hand speed. I've been solving F2L with RUL for about 7/8 years now, so that is not an issue :)

[Help Thread] ZZ and ZB Discussion

Years ago when I got into cubing, I learned the ZZ method, as no cube rotations really appealed to me, as well as the versatile F2L that it allows, letting you build blocks with the white colored blocks, effectively doubling the amount of blocks you can make, and the automatic top cross solve...

[Help Thread] Is my cube / puzzle a dud?

When assembling all centers were the same distance from the core from each other. Some of the pieces do wobble more than other, though.

[Help Thread] Is my cube / puzzle a dud?

Diy cubes help? Hello. I got a Diy lunhui a couple years ago, my first speed cube, and when comparing it to my friend's pre assembled lunhui it didn't match up and his was much, much better. I recently took it fully apart and reassembled it and lubed it as shown in videos, but my cube still...

New "E-Cubes" - as posted on tp forum

He is willing to sell some of his 3x3s for testing!! I would love to buy one right now, though I don't know if which cube the community finds the best. I have heard promising things about the type 5 and the type 0, though he said that the type 0 rings very loudly for some reason.

    Rubik's Cube 2.0 Released

I got the speed cube. Keep in mind, to anyone who is buying, the tension are not set too well in all cubes. I got 3 for myself, a friend, and my brother, and one cube was much looser and caught more than the other two. It's a good speedcube to start out with. I feel that if the centers were...

    Rubik's Cube 2.0 Released

I just received mine today and I must say I am very pleased with them. I wish I bought another to mess around with modding the centers, though. Otherwise its a decent speedcube.

    Rubik's Cube 2.0 Released

Well there is a speedcube version so doing so could be fixed by buying the speed cube.. I'd like to see how a center piece mod to fix reverse corner cutting would turn out

    Rubik's Cube 2.0 Released

The speedcube comes with removable center caps which you can tension the cube from there. The 2.0 does not have center caps if it isn't the speed cube version. Edit: now that I think about it, due to the confusion, should there be a separate topic for the new speed cube?

    Good LL method for ZZ?

Im wanting to find another way to do LL after transitioning to ZZ. Ive been looking at ZZ-b and ZZ-d but I dont know what way would be the best. ZZ-d looks interesting but Ive read that its impractical for speedcubing, but Im not sure if I should jump from OLL/PLL straight to ZZ-b. Im not sure...
