Got an FMC mean today. So that's everything, singles and averages =)
(On the 3rd solve I was still figuring out my solution with one minute left on the clock. OHing with my left hand, and writing the alg with my right. I thought I was going to throw up, haha, way too close for comfort.)
Today I got skewb sniggle, so all my sniggles are complete again. Also got skewb and 3BLD averages, so that just leaves FMC. Didn't even realize that has an avg!
Thanks for doing this, Methuselah!!!
There are several forks addressing some of the features mentioned. Not sure if it's easier to mine the code or build from scratch. I do know there is one that fixed the timer beeps and another that highlights the 5th and 12th solves.
My wishlist...
Way back, Cride calculated stats showing that solving F2L in any order was the most move efficient...so that's what I do. Although, I'm sure a case could be made for faster turn speeds and easier recognition when focusing on one side at a time.
I didn't find your message harsh at all. Background: at any given moment there are 10+ projects I'm working on, and I'm constantly abandoning some and replacing them with others. Discontinuing development is such a normal occurrence that if someone from across the world had me tracked down to...
As much as I would love Walter to continue development of Prisma Timer, he is certainly under no obligation to do so. Further, it's open source so it's just as appropriate to ask you the same question. Mollerz, why aren't you working on this further??
Kevin Hays' 8x8 turn speed seemed so much faster. Was this solve a lot more efficient or something? ...or maybe my old eyes are playing tricks on me O_O
Regardless, congrats on a fantastic time!!
Also, it could be interesting to have a chart for everything, no matter what the even (single cube, big multi, relay) using the point system. Each person would only show up once, with their highest scoring performance. Might look like: [rank] [name] [score] [event]. Basically it's an overall...
I haven't read every post in this thread so maybe this was brought up before; if so apologies.
Just to fuel all the speculation, here's another angle by which this matter could be examined. The study of body language and micro expressions is a fascinating topic. Programs like this show...
I did 6BLD in 1:04:05.43. It was on November 5, 2012. No idea what the memo time was, and no video. If that's too unreliable for you, feel free not to include it.
Here was that scramble if that makes any difference:
