One cool thing is that totally new and unique methods aren't very common, but variations of existing methods are, and some of them are really cool. If you like trying new methods maybe give ZZ a shot, because there are a lot of really cool and really good variations out there, and some of them don't even require learning any (or at least not very many) new algs.

Make one? Yes. Make one without trying to know every concept out there? No! Don'tabout a method that is, "CFOP, but you do PLL alg, then a OLL and so you always get a PLL skip." or something like that.
