Unofficial World Record as far as I know. Harris Chan has a 28.88 and that's the second fastest I know of :)
cubes: Guhong, Zhanchi, Zhanchi
Splits were about 11.5, 6.9 and 7.6 seconds. The rest of the the total time is comes from picking up/setting down the cubes. No idea how I managed to be so slow on the first one and then speed up like crazy on the last two. :D
scrambles:
1) B R D2 R' F U2 R U B R L2 F2 B2 U2 R2 F2 D2 R D2 R'
2) F D2 R2 B2 D2 B R2 D2 U2 B' F' R' U' B' L' F D2 R' F L2
3) R' U2 L D2 F2 L D2 B2 R2 F2 L2 B' U F' L' B F' D2 L2 D2 U'

Anybody want to reconstruct/measure times by frames? :p

When I get my third 3x3 this week, I've got to try this. I know I won't even get close to this, but I'm just hoping for around 70 seconds for the 3 cubes.

Thanks!
special thanks to Brest :p How do you measure the time so accurately? Do you count the frames or does your video software have a very good time scale?
I really should have gotten another 7 on the first solve. :p

I think he just finds the TPS and the turns in each solve to "estimate" (as he said) to find the time. Correct me if I'm wrong, Brest.

Ummmm.... Brest? 18 + 7 + 7 is 32.

I'm thinking you messed up the first solve time. Or just typed it out wrong.

EDIT: Yeah, looks like you just typed it wrong.

Also, nice solves

Thanks!

Oh, I missed this post.
My process for reconstructions is to go frame by frame through the video to accurately (as possible) find what moves were performed during the solve. If the timer is viewable then I can make note of the time shown when each step is completed. I attempt to take into account any delay between the timer and the display, although this is only an estimation and usually only a few frames.
If the timer is not in the video then it becomes more of an estimation, as counting frames for a whole solve would be tedious to say the least. Basically I take note of the time on the media player to make the estimation. At this stage I have not found a media player which displays times accurate to tenths or hundredths of a second. (Suggestions are welcome!)

For your solves, I did not originally take into account the time between the solves. I now think this is a mistake, so I will edit the time & TPS to reflect the full time taken for the three cubes. I will only add the pause time (0.94) to the Average -> Total, but not the individual solves or steps.

And a shout out to chrissyD for his reconstructions! Other cubers reconstructing --> good stuff!
