Took foreverrrrrr to get a decent single on cam

scramble: L U2 F2 D2 B' D' B F2 D' B2 F2 L B2 L2 F' R' D' L R D2 U' R' L2 F U2

inspection: x2
EOLine: y B2 R U2 R' y' D' (5)
Right F2L: L U L' U L U2 R U2 R L' U L U R U R' (16)
Left F2L: L U' L' U' L U' L' U L2 U L' U' L U L' (15)
OLL: U R2 D' R U2 R' D R U2 R (10)
PLL: R' U' R (U D') R2 U R' U R U' R U' R2 (D' U) (16)

Moves = 62. TPS = 3.93 pretty high move count but whatever.
Bonus points if you guess the song.

I would have done this in a speedsolve:

x2 y
B2 R U2 R' y' D' (5)
U2 R2 U2 L' U' L2 (6)
U R2 U2 R2 U R2 (6)
U' R' U R U' R' U' R L U2 L' (11)

I'm sure there's a better way to do this but there's no time to think. After looking at this scramble after I solved it...I found some really nice finger friendly EO lines that were 6 moves.

x2 y
B2 R U2 R' y' D' (5)
R2 U2 R' L U2 R' U' R2 (8)
U L2 U' L2 (4)
R U' R' U' R U' R' U R U' R' (11)
L U L' (3)

This is ok too. Preserving the orange/blue block. Sometimes high move counts for the two pairs are unavoidable. As long as you can do both in one look it's fine.

By the way, I can't see very much in your video. You should consider a better camera.

28 move solution...
Wow and if someone had 9 TPS, 28 moves/9 TPS= 3 1/9 sec.
And plus lookahead would make it sub 5 seconds?

I's saying that if this was done in a solve, the time to solve the cube would be under 5 seconds if a person had 9 TPS turning speed?

i lol'd

People don't "have" a certain TPS, like it's not like I'm a 5 TPS cuber just because I can get solves like that. Each solve you have a unique TPS, and it seems that without a full last layer TPS drops, since it's where most of the super consistent, high TPS happens. Plus getting 9 TPS during EOLine + zzf2l is difficult.

Yea I am sorry I am playing around with camera angles and stuff, I plan on investing in a better camera soon, but most of my money goes towards paying college and stuff. If someone has a camera recommendation I wouldn't mind though. Its part of the reason why i reconstructed the solve since I had a feeling no one would be able to see much

@hershey, first of all, yea, if only i had 9 tps...you make it sound like 9tps per solve is something that a lot of people can get. i cant remember the last time i saw a reconstructed solve that had 9 tps. IIRC faz's world record solves had like 7tps?

also lol- I didn't understand like any of your post

Thanks uber, i do like an ao100 a day, i'm hoping for sub 18 ao100 soon, its a bit of a stretch but I'm hoping for sub 17 ao100 before river hill comp. Once I reach that I will be as fast with zz as I am cfop. I still need to learn more algs for COLL and also for f2l, some nasty cases come up that take forever. I have just been so busy lately. Luckily crides site is up, I love it

Pushing with ZZ...very good...alien to me, as I cannot resist using F during F2L, but still very cool.

Camera angle blows...LOL...over-the-shoulder please...

I thought of this. Any recommendations for something I can rest the camera on? I'm sort of sccarce for equipment, i have to use a tv tray for my monitor :P

Also teller, I don't know if you saw the reconstruction, but that G perm is the one you gave me :D

Sweet :)

I actually did the rest of the solve and it sorta messed with my mind!

@Eric
Nice TPS. Efficiency-wise, i'd echo what Phil said about preserving free pairs - they're quite common and speed things up quite a bit. Another thing I picked up on, in the first pair - joining it up with the R-side would have moved DR into the R-layer making the 1x2x2 easier.
... there were a couple mistakes in the reconstruction. alg.garron is your friend :tu
reconstruction here

@kitten
Nice solutions, though there was a mistake in one of yours too
#1 #2

BTW, in speedsolves, have you tried placing front 1x2x2's in the rear slot for better lookahead?
